I can't say enough good things about this salon. The location is cute and comfortable, the stylists are knowledgeable and friendly. I was on vacation with my family, and they very kindly squeezed me in for an appointment. I get very nervous about haircuts, and almost never go to a salon because of it. The stylists worked with me, addressing any concerns I had. They go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your cut and style. And the products they use smell amazing! I felt so well cared for here, and definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a professional salon that cares deeply about its clients!
Katelyn was excellent with the color and cut. The spa is clean and welcoming. You have to make an appointment 2 weeks in advance because they are so in demand. Obviously well liked here in OBX. Highly recommend! Also a small business not a big chain group!

Kaylee did an amazing job bring my hair back to life after I let it grow out a bit too long! Even though I normally use product to style it, the way she cut my hair allows me to just wash it and go. Even sleeping on it doesn't mess up her skillful handy-work. Plus, she was a joy to sit with while cutting!
Loved what Jackie did to cut and style my hair. She is a gem, the shop is beautiful and well taken care of stocked, and organized and I love her and her place. That's the reason she received the 2026 Best Barber On The Beach award!!! Go in and check it out.

I am 75 years old lived in 7 states and 2 country's and I have never had a better hair cut . No frills , fair price , nice person
Spoke with Shannon and gave her the details of my plumbing issue, hot water heater replacement. She quickly sent me the proposal for the work, and once approved, the work was quickly scheduled. Landon and Robbie showed up in a timely manner, set up and performed the work in a professional workman like manor. They cleaned up and removed all the debris associated with the work from site. We are up and running with hot water again.
Had a major leak at my home, requiring the town to come out and turn off the water. R Blivens was one of the few companies in the OBX to even pick up the phone at 3pm on a Monday. I explained we had the leak stopped, and they said they could be there in the morning. Excellent service.
Shane came out to hook up a new kitchen faucet and correct the drainage pipe. He was a super nice gentleman,very knowledgeable and did an amazing job!

Beach Painting is one the the most reputable and trustworthy companies I have ever worked with. Guy, my onsite manager, always answers my calls or text, he follows up with any concerns I have, and did a great job putting new siding, doors, and a window on my beach house. The main office is great to communciate with, they follow up and their invoice are very clear and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company.
