“Had been in Chapel Hill for a while. Time for a haircut. I did a Yelp search and saw that Salon 135 got 5 stars, so decided to check it out.

I had the chance to stop by in person and made an appointment last night for a haircut this afternoon. The lady at the front desk was quite friendly, and she assigned me to Jennifer because she is more experienced at cutting straight hair.

It was the Homecoming weekend, I had trouble finding parking, so I was about 15 minutes late when I arrived at the salon this afternoon. Jennifer was working on her client who had an appointment before me because he was 20 minutes late. So I had to wait for about 10 additional minute until she finished.

Jennifer was friendly and professional! She gave suggestions and worked with me on deciding the hairstyle I was getting. We had a good conversation during the haircut. I requested an additional layer when she was ready to wrap up. She immediately worked on it without further ado. My whole cut, which involved cutting away about 6 inches with lots of layering, took about 50 minutes from start to finish.

All in all, Salon 135 has a friendly and professional staff. The $38 women cut was worth the price!

A consultant, Mariah came up to me asking if I needed assistance. She was so sweet, caring and willing to help. Mariah took the time to help suggest foundations for me and helped me get the right color. She also gave me tips and pointers with applying my makeup.
