I came in after visiting Sally’s in Durham, which was sadly closed, looking for some sort of toner for my hair to darken some lightened strips. I had 3 associates ask if I needed help and then almost the entire team come to the back to help me find a toner when 1 of the associates was too busy to stop and help! Everyone was very kind and helpful! Super pleased with the product they suggested I use as well. :)
My daughter and I needed help, and Ashley was friendly, kind, efficient, and very practical. She understood our needs, quickly recommended exactly the right items, and did so without any pressure to buy. She was easy to understand (no artificial sales assistant accent) and was down-to-earth herself both in appearance and manner. Although the credit card network was down and we had to pay cash, the rest of the staff was so helpful (putting our items aside while we went off in search of an ATM) that we stayed and shopped instead of running away in frustration. I have only stepped foot into an ULTA one other time before this past week because of overwhelming feeling that I don’t know what to buy. Sales Associate Peewee (my apologies if spelling is incorrect) was fantastic in helping me find three new products to help with a date night look. Very, very happy with my products - Milk primer, Mac foundation, and Tarte concealer. Such a quick and easy experience with a knowledgeable sales team member.
