“Our dream home was a barndominium and we are grateful that DDI of Hickory was able and willing to make that happen! We created our own plans, which were brought to life by an architect and engineered plans were created by the barndominium subcontractor. All in all, it was a seamless process from our first meeting through loan approval. During the build, we had Melissa as our site lead and she was at the site several times per week checking on things and making sure all went well. We were very pleased with the subcontractor hired to complete the shell and the concrete pour for our home, as well as most other subcontractors throughout the process. We are also grateful for Melissa and Michelle giving suggestions of how we could save money and do some things ourselves (such as purchasing our own front door and exterior doors from a wholesaler in SC for a significant cost savings). In all builds there will be issues, but Melissa would meticulously check all work and often would already have mistakes fixed before we even knew. There was one bigger mistake by a subcontractor and when that subcontractor was unable to make it right, DDI took it upon themselves to make it right. We absolutely love our finished home and recommend DDI of Hickory, especially if you want a barndominium!“

First off he was very nice and compassionate to my mom. He fixed something someone else had done. We agreed her gutters need love so he took care of that too. he did more work by trimming tree branches, replacing insulation, and stapling wires up under her house.
