Samantha was extremely helpful with fixing my issues. She went above and beyond to fix my issues. I do want to stress for possible future customers to read the fine print of their deals and be informed before going.

Really unhappy with my experience here. I went in for the advertised $79 dollar deal for two pairs and free eye exam. (THIS IS BOGUS. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY ATLEAST $300)
The lady that ran the first part of my eye test was very sweet, honestly the only good part about my visit. I go into the eye exam and the doctor isn't in the office, its a video call. I had told him multiple times on each eye that what I was seeing was blurry. When I got my results back it says my left eye was 20/20 still, which makes no sense to me.
I eventually sit down with the salesperson and I show him the two glasses I wanted to get. I opted for 2 for $139 as I didn't like any of the $79 dollar styles. He then says "okay, so before discounts it would have been $870, but don't worry we got it down to $560. UM EXCUSE ME, WHAT???? I say I can't do that and I have to settle on a single pair of glasses and end up paying $270 because the salesman kept pressuring me with addons that "I needed". I see online that they have a bogo offer that is good for glasses and lenses, why was I not offered this??
I also reiterated many times that I needed to make sure they help with my astigmatism because driving at night has become horrendous for me. They glasses do not make a lick of difference.
There are much, much cheaper options online. I have not been contacted even after their reply to this post.“

My rating would of been a 5 but I’m upset with the fact that I was made aware that the test that consist of the full picture of your eye (the one you pay out of pocket for) was not done properly last year because the picture did not show my full eye like it’s supposed to but yet Dr. Dunn never said anything about it not being done properly. Now this year Dr. Dunn tells me everything looks good with my eyes according to the picture taken this year but then says oh wait the test shows your cornea is thinning and tells me what to watch out for since it’s possible it can tear. My problem what that is why didn’t she explain what it actually means, what causes it and how to prevent further damage??? It’s like yeah something is wrong with your eye be careful it can tear okay bye. The exam felt rushed.“

235 Harvey St, Winston-Salem“My normal eye doctor couldn’t fit me in when I needed to be seen so I decided to try this place. The employees were very nice, but the doctor sees you via Zoom. They didn’t have my contact lens prescription in office, so they put me in the wrong powered lenses, corrected the wrong prescription with some glasses, and had me read the letters again. When I couldn’t see well, we had to wait for the Zoom doctor to be available again. When I said I couldn’t read the line he asked me to read, he insisted I guess what the letters might be and declared the prescription correct. The technician told me to come back in a week to be rechecked, but the reason I went to this office was because I’m not available to go to the eye doctor for several months. Again, the in person staff is outstanding, but I can’t recommend this place for people who actually want to see a doctor and feel confident in their prescription.“

We were able to get both fixed within an hour. I would highly recommended anyone who has to get their glasses repaired to use this specific Target Optical. Some of the best customer service I’ve received in a long time“

Easy to find with ample parking. They take cash, plastic and insurance (if you got it). Dr. Baker is very friendly and provides top notch care. I have been here a few times over the years and been very satisfied. They do the basic eye care, and also sell glasses and contacts. The selection for frames is decent. You can probably get services like this cheaper at some chain but the quality of care is much higher at Baker. Highly recommend.“

“This was my first visit to Carolina Eye Center and I couldn’t be happier with the professional and friendly care I received. I had significant vision issues and Dr. Owens and Dr. Ball explained everything to me using examples and words I could understand. Dr. Owens personally called me the next day to see if I had any other questions. Everyone I encountered during my visit was extremely attentive, caring and helpful.
I was able to find stylish glasses at a very affordable price. I could pick and choose different options for frames and lenses that were within my budget.
I highly recommend Carolina Eye Center Try them and you’ll “see” why!“
