“I am a patient of Groat Eyecare. Let's just get into it. If you are looking for someone to care for your eyes (issues or not) Groat is where you need to go. Today however I would like share an example of their wonderful and outstanding customer service in the optical area of the office (yes honeeee you get can your eyes exam AND get glass - it's one stop shopping). Anyhoo. I called to inquire about readers. I spoke with a woman name Taryn. Can I tell you she went above and beyond! She didn't just answer my questions - she pulled up my insurance, explain how they could help me get my readers and told me I could stop by anytime because they were there to help (office hours of course). The call alone was enough for me to leave this review. But it gets better. I made my way over to the office, signed in and guess who ended up helping me - Taryn. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, compassionate about my story, supportive and did not lie when I tried on a pair of glasses that looked hideous on me. She kindly said "let's try another pair". It made for a great laugh. I actually had a good time trying on glasses. Who would have thought. Listen - run on over to Groat and let them care of your eyes AND your eye wear. One note of caution: Mr or Mrs Groat and Associates, as a patient who has been in your optic area PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE (3x for emphasis) do us (the patients) a favor and get some new patient chairs over in the optic area - chairs all the way around honestly. In the early 70s maybe 80s those chairs were perfect... but it's 2024. You have gotten every single dime out of those chairs (pennies, quarters and dollars). The arms were worn, the fabric is ancient. I love ya'll....but those chairs...lawd have mercy. Taryn thank you for smiling, laughing, being kind and sweet! Cute nail polish by the way!
