“Was skeptical at first. I read some reviews. I tried a few different websites for pricing including nugmed. I forget the others. Set my appointment up last night for my appointment this morning at 9:30am. Was approved immediately for my chronic pain. And my card was approved by the state of Missouri by 10:16am. lol my card was printable in 46minutes of my appointment. Of course it all depends on how noticeable your condition is for approval I think and how backed up your state is on applications.“

“It’s hard for me to understand how anyone could leave a negative review about Dr. Mehrtens or any of his staff.
Dr. Mehrtens has been the primary care physician for our entire family for years, and the care we’ve received in this office has been consistently outstanding!
Dr. Mehrtens and his staff truly listen. You never feel rushed, and they always take the time to answer every question. He is also very responsive through the patient portal and can usually see you within a day or two of calling. I’ve never had to wait weeks for an appointment like you often do with other offices.

“I was a patient of the Wound Care Center from October 2024 to March 2025. I had obtained a foot ulcer on my left foot which then lead to a bone infection a month or so later. This was a serious condition and with me being a diabetic, there was a possibility I could have lost my left foot but they saved me from that. I was instructed that I need to go on IV antibiotics, be put in a foot cast and do the hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatments. It seemed like a lot but it was the right thing to do. I started all of those treatments on the 3rd week of January and was done with it all on the 3rd week of March. The entire staff at the Wound Care Center were amazing and very caring about my health and progress. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Top notch service and professionalism by everyone“
