“I got several quotes for a potential new roof (it was old and had years of hail damage) after a company canvased my neighborhood. I spent considerable time/energy contacting what I felt to be the most professional companies… with high review ratings and recommended by Angie’s List. Coldstream was one of them. Kevin came out, inspected my roof and then talked with me at length. He was very professional and personable… but just as important to me, he was very honest in telling me my roof would probably last a few more years… but he gave me pros and cons for waiting versus replacing it now. He also pointed to a problem my previous roof had that I was unaware of and recommended a fix of that problem also. After much consideration, I went with Coldstream because I trusted Kevin (he didn’t try to “hard sell” me, a single woman, as other companies have done) and their pricing was good… not too high, not too low. My roof was replaced within a week (!). It’s beautiful and Kevin made the process go without a hitch. I rarely ever provide reviews for companies, but interacting with Kevin (before, during and after the replacement) made the process so much less stressful for me! “I was looking for a place to repair the damage from the March 14th tornado. I was given two suggestions from friends who had used the businesses in the past for repairs on their homes. My house was damaged in the March 14th storm but it was not anything structural mostly just cosmetic work. Tesson Roofing and Exteriors service was excellent from the beginning to end of the project. They got all the damaged siding and gutters replaced in a timely manner. Our project manager, Jake Looney, was the biggest reason the project went so smoothly. His ability to communicate throughout the process was excellent and he made you feel more like a friend or family than a client they were just servicing. The quality of work was exceptional and the bid came in right at what my insurance provided us for the repairs so we did not have to go back and forth with the insurance company. “TL;DR: Todd at John Beal is the guy you want. He went above and beyond, answered all my questions, checked in constantly, and made the whole drawn-out insurance/roofing process way easier than I ever expected.

I don’t usually write good reviews (I’m more of a “complain when things go wrong” type ?), but Todd really deserves it. This whole process started back in April and didn’t get finished until this past week thanks to all the insurance drama, and Todd stuck with me the entire time.

It was my first time dealing with a homeowner’s insurance claim and he walked me through everything, no matter how small my question was. I had to deal with a shady third-party adjuster who wouldn’t give me an estimate unless I agreed to use him, and then my insurance company dragged their feet and even refused to cover skylights because “they didn’t leak right away.” Through all of that, Todd had my back and helped me figure out what to do.

When it finally came time for installation, Todd didn’t just disappear—he came by multiple times, especially that first day, to make sure everything was going right and to see if I needed anything. Honestly, he made what could have been a nightmare into a much easier experience.
