Ciara, Justin, Keisha, and Maddie were so incredibly helpful, pleasant, kind, humorous, and went out of their way to help us! My husband and stepson got eyeglasses, and I got eyeglasses and contacts. All of these processes were seamless even as they happened on different days, and my husband even ended up returning both frames because they weren't comfortable the way he originally thought. Again - a SEAMLESS and easy going process! Both Ciara and Justin (and even with some help from Maddie and Keisha) worked out which plans with insurance and discounts would be best for all of our separate benefits. Ciara helped me figure out what glasses would fit my wants, while also helping me figure out which frames look the best! They truly went out of their way. We will never go anywhere else for our vision needs, specifically because of the amazing customer service from start to finish. Thank you all so much for being so great to us. “I worked with Tina to get a pair of Rudy Project glasses. She was knowledgeable about the frame brand (they had many options available in store to try), and she was very patient and informative discussing transitions technology with me. She didn't shy away from discussing technical jargon for probably over an hour, was transparent about technology differences between their lenses and Rudy Project's lab's lenses, and put my mind at ease regarding tinting, xtractive, polarization, and glare. Eyewearhaus's lab serviced my tough prescription when Rudy Project couldn't (high index, astigmatism). Tina was also very patient as I got my HSA account sorted out in-store, was willing to split my payment, and found a way to get me their $99 off special even though it technically began the next day and even though Rudy Project is usually excluded.

I was forced to come here as they're the only local retailer for Rudy Project, but they will be considered for all my future glasses needs, even living 45 min away.“

Then, Madison the Magnificent was the most patient, caring, and had more tricks up her sleeves in order to train me on how to put my new contacts in with just a couple of try’s! We laughed so much that I thought I’d like to sign up for weekly lessons. 🤩

The other office staff could not have been nicer and I would give a shoutout to them as well but my memory is going as well! Haha!

“Tyler at Eureka location was an absolute gem to work with when granddaughter(visiting from out of state) needed a new frame due to one of the arms breaking. While we couldn’t move lenses to a new frame( due to Walmart policy), Tyler came up with an inexpensive solution to replace the arms and it worked out fabulous! Tyler was very kind and ready to help any way he could. He came through big time and granddaughter was happy to have her glasses fixed on the spot! “I’ve been going to Clarkson Eyecare in Rock Hill for over 5 years, and they’ve always taken great care of me. I’ve been wearing glasses or contacts since third grade, so I was so ready for a change. One day I told Dr. Leah Matthews I was thinking about getting LASIK once I had enough saved in my HSA, and she immediately mentioned Clarkson has their own LASIK surgery center and could send my records over. Honestly, I was a little hesitant—my experience at Rock Hill had been so good, I didn’t think the surgery center could match that level of care. But wow, I was totally wrong! My first consultation at the Clarkson LASIK Surgery Center was amazing. They ran a ton of tests, walked me through every option, and Dr. Hubbard really took the time to explain what would work best for me. The front desk? Incredible. Special shoutout to Krystal—she was so kind and checked in with me every step of the way. And the best part? There was zero pressure to make a decision. It was purely informative and supportive, which made me feel even more confident. Turns out, I wasn’t a good candidate for LASIK due to my thin corneas. I had no idea what EVO ICL was, but they explained it all so well. I even got to meet the surgeon, Dr. Thiessen, before moving forward, and he helped calm any nerves I had. Day of surgery came around—it was in St. Charles—and the Clarkson team literally showed up with a goody bag. Like… who does that?! Everything was so organized, I got all my post-op drops, and here I am just over a month later with 20/15 vision. I’m still in shock. I seriously cannot recommend Clarkson Eyecare enough. From Rock Hill to the surgery center, every single person I met made this experience smooth, supportive, and honestly kind of fun. If you’re thinking about vision correction—go here. You won’t regret it.“

“Perfect visit! I went in for a 'yearly' visit (it's been two years since I've had my eyes checked) and the experience could have not been any better. I called one day and was given an appointment for two days later. Quite nice. This was a first time visit and everything went off without a hitch. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. Dr. Secoy is great. Good demeanor, also very personable. I am in need of corrective lens and the staff was nice enough to help pick out some nice frames. Not pushy, I wasn't steered in one direction or the other and honest opinions were given. Not that I look forward to seeing eye professionals but I'm happy that I've found a local eye care that I will be happy to go to.“
