“I have had experience with various Optical centers in various cities and states. The Costco Center in St. Peters is by far the best,and l have been 83 years on this earth. No, l was not born wearing glasses but have required some visual aide for 40+ years. I have only lived in this area 5 years but for as long as l am here, l will remain a customer of this Eye Center and l surely hope the staff they currently have will remain as well. “This was a trip to quickly get storage totes that took the better part of an hour. Classic—I asked two employees to assist me with lifting and getting to the front, (8) 60-gallon Sterilite storage boxes to the front. One ignored me, the other said she couldn’t be bothered as she was heading to break. So typical me, I dragged them through the store. About 50 feet from self checkout, a LOVELY young woman, Jerrica, an employee walking to do some other things came running to offer me help. She then told me to stop there, left her cart of stuff, and literally ran to get a flatbed cart. She, no questions asked offered her assistance without me asking when two other people waved me off, for me to get them to the front. She was beyond nice, super helpful, and more than professional. SHE is what ALL Walmart employees should strive to be! I hope she gets tk read this small review in the world of internet noise because she MADE MY DAY and not only restored my faith in humanity for a short while but made me realize, if you work hard enough, do your best at any job no matter how exhausting or in your world, small, it DOES matter and you do matter to someone! “Dr. VanGilder is wonderful!I've always had trouble getting gas permeable contact lenses prescribed correctly for my eyes. When I first went to Dr. VanGilder decades ago, he fitted me perfectly with wonderful gas permeable contact lenses. I've seen him every year since my first visit, and he has always kept my vision perfect.He is highly skilled, very kind, and very patient and methodical. What I hate most about moving away from this area is that I'm going to have to find a new optometrist. I hate losing Dr. VanGilder!“

She helped me pick out frames, provided her honest opinions, and priced the various eyeglass/sunglass combinations I kept coming up with. She's so great, I ended up going back two months later and ordering 2 more pair! Dr. Younger was also great and I will continue going back to her. Linda is the main reason I will keep going back, though.“
