“I highly recommend Marvel Plumbing! This was the second time they helped out. (Please see my other review below.). Because Marvel is located quite a distance from me, I've had several other plumbing companies come out annually to clean out the main drain. The last one charged me $584, which seemed like a lot - plus if I wanted them to use the camera, I had to pay extra. This year I decided to return to Marvel Plumbing and am so glad I did. Ryan spent over an hour grinding away the built up grease that has obviously been there for several years (probably since they last cleaned it.) If you want a thorough, courteous, and professional job, I highly recommend Marvel Sewer & Drain over any other company. Even though it might cost a bit more if you are in Eden Prairie, Marvel is totally worth it! Thank you, Marvel & Ryan for such professional and dependable service.

Here is my review from several years ago; Excellent, Professional, Courteous!!! I was in a panic when I woke up and sewage had backed up in my basement shower. Ben responded to my call right away. He and his assistant, Sam, came out within a few hours and cleared it all out! His priced was very fair, especially considering all the work he had to do. In addition, he went above and beyond when he made an extra trip back to my home to leave a 'water alarm' for me to use in case water is detected in the future! I highly recommend Ben and will definitely call him again if I have any other plumbing issues.

“First time calling for someone to do an oven inspection. I left a message and received a prompt response with an appointment scheduled within just a few hours. Jesse arrived, was polite, very conversational and incredibly knowledgeable. I actually learned a lot about how my oven works! He really knows his stuff and clearly takes pride in what he does.

He also took the time to point out some safety concerns with my existing gas line and offered helpful recommendations based on proper building codes with no pressure to sell anything. He'll tell you if something is potentially a danger risk, or if something is not worth the hassle of costly parts and labor. “From start to finish we had a great experience with WHN. Our first contact was with Jon, and he was friendly and responsive, and really went above and beyond to help us with the process of replacing our broken, unrepairable water heater. He went through and explained all of the options to us. He was even willing to help us with the process of submitting documents to our home warranty company, which was a headache but he never complained. They were able to get out to our house the next day to replace our water heater. Our tech, Bruce, was friendly, communicative and efficient. We thought the price was fair, too. We can't recommend WHN highly enough!“

“New furnace 1-2 years ago, and recently a new AC. Regarding both experiences plus a couple earlier problems: The Quality of Service in all measurable categories was superlative, and it was a pleasure to engage them. I wish Jeff Johnson were my neighbor.

I once compared prices and found them somewhere in the mid-range, I think. Okay, fine----but is getting a 'great' bargain something you want when searching for a surgeon? The price rating systems don't tell me much, unless some outfit's prices are so off-the-charts they include a catered lunch. My criteria include those intangible qualities of professional and personal integrity that only be recognized by seeing them firsthand---and I have. This could be edited and made more coherent, perhaps, but I think you get the point. I just know I can count on you when needed---though I hope that isn't too often. Thanks.“

“During this last storm I noticed that there had been a little water in our basement. I immediately thought it was because our sump pump wasn't working properly so I called Steve to see if he could check it to see why it wasn't going on. Steve said he couldn't help with this but referred me to a plumber. However, upon speaking with Steve and explaining the situation Steve explained what he thought happened and in the end I wouldn't need to call a plumber at all. There aren't many contractors who would call you back to explain this knowing that it wouldn't be a sale. You can be sure if I ever have a drain issue Steve is the one I'd call. McDonough immediately set up a same day appointment at my convenience - technician arrived on time, cleared the drain and went over and above to make sure he had left no mess. Fair price - I could not ask for more.“

“We have used Grabow Plumbing as our go to plumber since they participated as a plumbing contractor in a major remodeling project at our house almost 15 years ago. They have done a number of repairs for us during this time and we have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of the service we have received. They have always been prompt and courteous. The do have an emergency service which is available outside regular business hours. They are a relatively small business so we have gotten to know the employees which is always a good thing rather than having a new person every service call. Plumbers are not inexpensive but I believe that their prices are fair. I highly recommend Grabow.“
