“I had a leak that started in my kitchen from a poor siding job the previous home owner had contracted. I contacted multiple roofing companies, and received bids from all of them. Every company I contacted was either overly focused on redoing the whole roof or didn’t contact me back. Christian and his team from MBE showed up promptly, gave me a fair price to fix the leak, and offered to work with our insurance company to help me get it covered. During the longer claim process, Christian not only helped communicate to insurance, but showed up multiple times without receiving a cent, to temporarily fix the leak. I ended up getting my full roof repaired, the siding that was rotting repaired, and the leak fixed, all covered by insurance and all done within a couple weeks. I can’t say enough about how great of a job Christian and his team did, but also how happy I am that I made the call. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who had a roofing project, and enjoys working with an honest, hard working, and helpful roofing company.“

“Everyone remembers the hail storm that happened in Minneapolis in August of 2023 . I had several roofing contractors knock on my door and tell me that I had damaged to my downspouts and to my roof from that hail storm. With a price tag that would make your gramma blush, and then to find out my insurance company said "no dice" I didn't have the roof replaced . I contacted JR with Nokomis Roofing in my local neighborhood .to get his opinion, i dont know him, he is a roofer in 55406 area. JR came and surveyed my roof and reviewed the pictures that I was given by the other roofing contractors. JR stated unequivocally that the insurance company was right your roof is just fine you do not need it replaced . I will be forever grateful to have found someone who is actually going to give me the honest answer without charging me and without doing a job that didn't need to be done . When my shingles start flying off my roof , which i hope never happens, I will definitely be giving JR with Nokomis Roofing a call. Clearly he is ​ a ​ man with integrity and proud of the work he does. “I got new siding and a new roof by Thompson last July, with final completion of a remaining task the following August. The workmanship was excellent, with detailed attention on the siding and trim. Peter and crew took extra time to make sure the porch (which was sinking since it was built in 1919) had stable footings, and they jacked it up to make it level with the house to complete the siding. It meant the doors and windows were now plum, whereas before they were tilted, hence the remaining task to fill in gaps of siding on the interior porch and at the door (all were unexpected to the original plan). I had some frustration with nailing timelines down and follow up: I had a limited window in which the work needed to happen (6 weeks) because I was otherwise away and I wanted to be there to oversee the work. The roof and siding were completed the morning I was leaving town, which was stressful, but it got done. In the end I would use them again because quality workmanship is more important to me than project management (and more rare), but know that they are less strong at organization and timelines/appointments. I experienced more on the fly follow up, texts and drop by questions (usually on evenings or Saturday) to get remaining insurance estimates, measurements, colors, payment etc. He seemed totally swamped, but I think this is just the way Peter rolls.“

Advise form Garlock French was to repair rather than replace the entire roof, They also installed a copper ridge flashing to prevent moss. Work was done on material cost and labor, competed—with efficency and care, existing shingle were scrubed and cleand of moss. Price was reasonable and done with skill and care. I was extreamley pleased with the results.“
