“We started out getting estimates from three companies. Two of them ghosted us. They came to see the house, meet us, and talked about the process. And then we never heard anything from them again. Collins stood out from the very beginning. Not only did we actually get an estimate from them, they answered our follow up questions and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable with the process.

I appreciated getting their regular emails that detailed their schedule for the coming weeks. It was nice to see what order we were in and when we could expect them. When it was our turn, the communication was great. Manny, the project manager, was with us every step of the way letting us know what to expect. We got daily updates and pictures from his drone showing the progress each day.

They started on a Tuesday and the new roof was completed two days later. The crew worked their buns off from sun up to sun down each day. It was amazing. Friday morning was the final walkthrough with Manny. The whole experience was easy and hassle-free thanks to the Collins team!! We absolutely love our beautiful new roof!“

“When have you ever used words like “exceptional”, ”extraordinary”, or ”remarkable” for work done on your home? I had to use Google to come up with enough words to describe our roofing project with Craftsmen Home Improvement. There’s definitely a reason for all the 5-star reviews.
Customer service is first and foremost at Craftsmen. Our first contact was with Jim, to talk about the project and what Craftsmen could do. He was never rushed, never annoyed with our unknowledgeable questions and spent all the time needed so we were comfortable.
When we asked for a quote, we got biographies of the main people we would be working with and a detailed quote following the format from the insurance estimator. Plus the Lifetime Labor Warranty.
When we chose Craftsmen, we promptly got an email from them, welcoming us and an attached document “What to Expect with Your Roofing Project” with all kinds of helpful information.
We were concerned about damage to our new driveway. So we only made a comment, but it was out with the dumpster and in with a lighter garbage trailer. Then there was the daily clean-up: nothing was left out at night, it was all put away or taken away. And not only did they blow the leaves away from the house, they cleaned the whole yard and took away my husband’s raking job for the season. Needless to say, after the final clean-up, the yard was more pristine than before the job was started!
Regarding the actual roof, the crew came out to inspect the job and discovered several items that had been left off the insurance estimate – an additional $6,000 find. The crew worked early and late to beat the weather. And the roof looks great.
Staff was always available to answer questions-I don’t remember ever being put on hold.
I know our first stop if we need new siding or windows in the future. (I was not paid for this review!)“

“A tree fell on my house on a Sunday evening and I ended up running into a friend of mine , Adam Seed , who worked for Bison Builders that Monday morning. I told him what happened and he agreed to meet with the insurance adjuster that would show up that Thursday. He went up on the roof with her and let me know he would be there to take care of things for us. He kept in contact with me through the whole process, step by step. He never promised anything that they didn’t deliver. They were finished in a day and a half and cleaned up everything. The workers were very professional and courteous. Excellent job by this organization.“

“Kevin from Trinity has been assessing my roof yearly for several years. It was finally time to pull the trigger. I got 3 quotes and not only was Trinity the lowest, but they were the most detailed. Kevin followed up several times to make sure I understood every detail of the quote and the project. I was assigned a project manager in the office and another one for the site work.

“Carey at Sela returned our call promptly and came out the next day to assess our situation and provide an estimate (on a Friday afternoon). Work completed on Monday, three days later. The outcome is exceptional and it is virtually impossible to tell what part of the roof was repaired.

“Mark Rodriquez evaluated our home and worked with our insurance company to demonstrate damage from a recent storm. He worked to get all damage covered and to get our repairs completed. In all, our insurance covered replacement of the roof, gutter guards, garage door wraps, and garage doors.

Our job was far from standard as the insurance didn’t fully cover both garage doors, and insurance underquoted our gutter guards, both which needed mitigation from Mark/Options Exteriors. Additionally, we requested retail bids for the replacement of a garage door opener and the replacement of two gable vents. Finally, we incurred personal expenses from the expected discovery of rotted decking.

Approximately a month before meeting with Mark, we had noticed water leaking through the roof. We suspected we had roof damage and likely some damaged decking. The first work done on the house was the roof, which took two days, mostly due to the confirmed damaged decking. Their team did a fantastic job of replacing all damaged decking and the roof. They were meticulous on their clean-up, and we only ever found one nail on the ground.

To prevent future damage to the decking, I asked for a retail bid to have our gable vents replaced as both were no longer working. Mark worked to line up an electrician and get them replaced in a timely fashion and at a reasonable cost. Additionally, ridge vents were installed on the roof to prevent any built-up moisture.
The gutter guard issue wasn’t identified until installation day. I noticed that the quality of the gutter guards wasn’t the same high-end quality as the Rhino gutter guards we had installed. I notified Mark of the issue, and he arrived at my house 15 minutes later. He too realized that the quality hadn’t been identified by the insurer and began work to get coverage for the appropriate quality. While awaiting approval, Mark had his team complete the installation of the lower quality guards. After approval, they removed the lower quality and installed an equivalent product at no additional cost.

Mark/Options took many steps over an approximately two-month period to finally get my insurer to cover the non-damaged garage door as finding a matching door was not possible. Additionally, I asked for a personal bid to also have the garage door opener replaced and all work was performed quickly and professionally.

Overall, I felt as if our job was very atypical and that we had many non-standard requests. Mark handled all requests with professionalism and efficiency. We would recommend Options Exteriors/Mark to anyone and will leverage their services for any future work we need.“

“We were referred to Prominent Construction by a family member who used them for a roof replacement. Our roof seemed to be showing some wear and we wanted it inspected proactively. From the initial call, they were well organized and great communicators. Justin came out the day after our call, inspected our roof, and showed pictures of the problem areas. He pointed out the blistered shingles and educated us on the benefits of ridge venting in improving ventilation (vs our existing turtle vents). He did not use any aggressive sales tactics but just outlined our options, both in terms of shingle choices as well as what costs may be if we waited a year or two. His consultative approach was much appreciated as we made our decision. Once we agreed to move forward, Justin worked with us to get the paperwork done quickly so that we could get on the schedule. He also recommended contacting our insurance company to inquire about a discount on our homeowner’s insurance premium with the class 4 impact resistant shingles (we will get a nice discount, making the upgrade worth it). As our project moved along, Charles took the baton from Justin and reached out to schedule our job and provide guidance on how to prepare for the install as well as answer any questions. Charles also looped in Tabitha as I had questions on getting our insurance form completed. On the day of the roof replacement, the crew showed up promptly at 7am and got right to work. They gave us an estimated timeline for the project (which they met) and were respectful of our property. They did an excellent job of cleaning up and the roof looks great. When I called in late in the day to inquire about the timing of the dumpster pick-up, Tabitha quickly tracked down the answer and got back to me even though it was after business hours. Charles came out the next business day to inspect the job, pick up the extra unopened shingles, and ensure there were no residual scraps in the yard. He did point out a section where he wants the edge trimmed a little better and said he’d send someone out to do that. Great attention to detail and obviously takes pride in their work. Prominent has been so easy to work with, making us feel like a valued client versus just another job. I have already referred them to a family member and know they will have a wonderful experience as well. Definitely would give Prominent Construction 5 stars!“
