“Got recommended Hugo Plumbing from another locally owned plumber that was booked out over a week.

My tank storage water heater was leaking out the bottom. I called at 12:30 on Wednesday, talked to Sue, it was immediately clear she was well versed in the business and equipment. Nash came out at three, and we talked through replacement options. There was never pressure to purchase or an attempt to upsell, I was the one to guide the conversation into higher priced options. We talked through the cost, pros, and cons of the tank, tankless, and heat pump options available.

I opted for tankless, and John and Brandon installed a Navien NPE-240a2 today. They came in, did the work over about two hours, I paid them and they left. They never tried to sell me other services or a monthly subscription plan like the big franchises.

With my old water heater, the inlets, outlets, exhaust, and gas line were poorly placed and just kind of floating in the air. Now everything is cleaned up, they rerouted the gas line through the floor joists above and the water lines are anchored to wall in clean lines. In addition, they did an excellent job cleaning up, not a speck of PVC or dust was left behind.

For both appointments they provided exact times they would show up, not just vague five hour windows, for both appointments they were actually early and gave me a call to see if I was available to get started early.

“We had leaking wax ring, unknown to us, bring down our finished lower level ceiling on Christmas Eve with 11 relatives at our home. I called Roger Vadnais Plumbing at 8:01 on Dec 26th. Roger had a plumber, Gordy, at our house by about 8:45AM. By 9:30AM the leaking wax ring was diagnosed and replaced with a raised flange/new wax ring and toilet reset and operable.We had a new wood floor installed in about 2016. The floor installers did not raise the flange to take into account the thickness of the ne flooring material but just used two wax rings to compensate which caused the long term leak causing ceiling below to become saturated and subsequently fail. If you replace flooring be sure to have a plumber reinstall the toilet to avoid this problem.We have used Roger Vadnais Plumbing whenever we have needed a plumber’s help since we purchased our home in 1993 and we recommend them highly.“

ASAP came out to did a camera inspection and repair on our sewer line after we had a minor backup into our basement (an annual problem with tree roots in our sewer line). Graydon was very helpful and showed us what was going on with our 66-year-old line. He was great to answer my questions and explain the process. We were able to get the repairs scheduled quickly. Delano was the crew lead for the re-lining process and did an excellent job of explaining their work and schedule for the day. They finished on time and cleaned up everything. Graydon also explained the repairs to our insurance company. The estimate was honored and the whole process was painless.The estimate was also significantly lower than a "big name" sewer company and some local companies as well. “We had a leak in our basement and had these guys come over to check it out. After investigating and walking all over the house trying to determine where the leak was we decided it made the most sense to hold off on breaking into walls to look at pipes and for us to be a little more conscious about water on the floor in bathrooms because based on the symptoms it didn't seem like an actual pipe leak. It was the right call because I later realized the leak had come from my kid dumping our cat's water bowl out And it made perfect sense with everything we had talked about while investigating where the water should be coming from to create the leak. We also had a toilet that wasn't flushing and he snaked that thing and fixed it. So overall it was a fine interaction. I'm sorry other people seem to have had bad ones but things were good here.“
