They take the time to understand both you and your animals, and what I appreciate most is that they listen. They talk things through with you and don’t jump straight to expensive tests like X-rays or unnecessary procedures.

I also want to mention something very personal. When I had to put my little poodle down, I was devastated. As I searched for the perfect new puppy, I would send every potential one to Dr. Zieman. She always took the time to review the information and honestly tell me whether she recommended that puppy or not — and explain why. It took several tries, but eventually she said, “Yes, I would recommend this one.” That puppy is now 7 years old, and I absolutely adore her.

They’re also wonderful about answering emails immediately, which has saved me many trips to the vet — and of course, unnecessary vet bills.
