“What a professional, yet caring team. It was perfect for a party of about 75 for the service. The downstairs lunchroom was a perfect spot for our luncheon. We used the grand piano for background music as well. Thank you Jim and team.“

“My beloved wife, Suzanne passed away two months ago, and we had prearranged her cremation. I am pleased to say, that despite the difficulty of dealing with this very sad and emotional issue, everyone at the cremation Society of Minnesota Edina was excellent to work with. Most especially Julia Pham, who was extremely helpful and attentive throughout the process. The event went very well!
My only concern, and it’s relatively minor, is that the staff that I worked with on the days leading up to the Ceremony regarding the audio video presentation we’re not present on the day of the event. That led to the sound system being operated at a lower volume than it should have.
Otherwise, I was very pleased.

“It could not have been better. I believe his name was Aaron, and he was professional and thorough but also had a great sense of humor that my Mom Delores would've loved. Even at age 91, I'm positive that she would have flirted or gave him a hard time. We had every question answered. I had a life size cardboard cutout of her & some folks took pics with her. They were totally ok with this & complimented us for a great idea. Highly recommend this funeral home. Y'all should be proud of yourselves!“

“My dad recently passed away peacefully. We decided to use Morris Nilsen for my dad's care and burial. Steve was such a blessing in this hard time. He helped us do a direct burial and was able to help get my dad into Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Due to a certain time restraint, Steve worked hard with the VA and everything worked out well. Steve and his staff are professional and caring. They help to honor families wishes for their loved ones. Steve picked out a very nice coffin for my dad, that was economical. He did not try to add any unnecessary costs to this event. Thank you Steve and all the Morris Nilsen staff for doing such a great job with my dad and family.“
