I have been a patient at Fortney Eyecare in Ypsilanti for years!! I have always felt that I've received professional, respectful treatment there. The staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good eyecare at an affordable price. Lynaire C.

Will not return, staff is very disrespectful. Unfortunately this has happened multiple times, I believe people should get second & third chances, but their chances have been extinguished.UPDATE: Returned at the request of management. Rude individual has been removed from this location. Went back in when Tere (Pronouced "Terri") was available. One of the most caring individuals you would ever encounter. Very knowledgeabel, helpful and accomodating. I highly recommend asking for her.

I’ve been coming to the Ypsi location for years and have always had a very pleasant experience. Everyone is always friendly and seems to enjoy working together. Most recently, Kristina was very friendly and personable when I was checking in and helped with paperwork and the pre exam tests. Dr. Smithbauer is very knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions and address concerns, but also gets you through the exam efficiency. When it was time to pick frames, Sheila was incredibly helpful. She took the time to walk around the store with me, listened to what I was looking for and made great recommendations.
