I had a sudden issue with my eye, so I contacted Ypsilanti Vision & was able to get an appointment the very next day.The staff was absolutely fantastic!They ran a series of tests & I felt I was in good hands the entire visit.Dr. Zair-Yalda was very kind & professional during my exam.She explained the problem I was having in my eye in a manner that I could easily understand.The Dr. answered all my questions & calmed any concerns I had.I highly recommend Dr. Zair-Yalda & Ypsilanti Vision! ??

After having to switch my insurance, I was anxious about also switching optometrists, but I shouldn’t have been at all. Ypsilanti Vision was such a fantastic first appointment as well as the process of picking frames afterwards. Everyone is so friendly! Thank you all.

Very professional, and informed staff. I got a lovely pair of glasses and they have a great selection.I would definitely say make sure you ask if contact lenses are covered by your insurance before they run a fitting test. A tech asked me a few times of I was okay with it, and said yes being under the impression my insurance covered the lenses themselves. My lenses were unfortunately not.If you have insurance questions, I would ask the doctor managing frames for recommendations before your exams as she is very knowledgeable. Otherwise, be sure to call your insurance beforehand because contact lens coverage can be conditional.
