G & K Floor Covering

5 Emerick Street, Ypsilanti

“G&K flooring did a phenomenal job on a whole home flooring project after we purchased our home. Paul, who managed the project and installation, did a phenomenal job of helping us make choices reflecting our vision. He was also a strong communicator, which was crucial because we were living out of state during the installation and needed the project complete before our move in date.

Paul’s crews removed old LVP, installed new hardwood in some locations, refinished original oak and pine in others, installed carpet in the basement, and LVP in the utility room. We adore our floors and multiple contractors (doing other projects) have remarked that they have been impressed at the quality of our refinished floors.

Paul would be our first call if we ever need a flooring project again.”

“Aaron installed hardwood flooring for us in two rooms. We are very happy with his work and recommend him without hesitation. He is very professional, communicative and clear. His itemized quotes detail the scope of the project and payment schedule. He was flexible in helping us figure out the right flooring project for our budget. He was available to answer questions we had throughout the process. He is knowledgeable about his craft, diagnosing our floor squeaking, seamlessly transitioning the new floors to the old even across a height change, and fixing some errors in other rooms left by another flooring company. He left our home in great condition when the project was complete. We will use his services again!”
