“Dr Kelley and their staff is absolutely amazing with animals they are kind, caring, empathetic and they really work with you financially. Just when I thought I was going to have to put my cat Rio down because Animal Pet Emergency & Specialty Hospital diagnosed Rio with a UTI and a blockage was kept there for 3 days. I had a feeling Rio was being released too early because when removing the catheter Rio had only urinated one time after the catheter was removed and normally they want the pet to urinate several times before being discharged. I had to rush him back again after paying over $4,000. This time after leaving him there paying $2,000 and then calling and telling me he would need another surgery but before the animal pet emergency would do the surgery I had to come up with another four or $5000. It was 11:00pm and I couldn't get the money together that night so the animal emergency stopped his IV treatment therapy and told me Rio only had 24 hours to live if he did not have the surgery. I was so emotionally distressed and devastated and had come to the conclusion I would have to have Rio euthanized but I found Kelley's Animal Clinic and took him there and they immediately cared for him and did the surgery for only $1700. They also put me in contact with Heaven Can Wait who helped pay some of that money because they know how much I had already paid and even microchipped him for me. Jan the hospital administrator came out and talked to me and really helped me out with everything and it was so sweet it made me feel so relieved I knew Rio was in the best hands. I even had to take him back the next day cuz he had bleeding which was normal but they observed Rio all day and didn't charge. They are so wonderful. Dr. Kelley and staff really saved his life when the animal emergency was just going to basically let him die because I couldn't come up with a bunch of money in such little time. Hi 100% recommend Dr Kelley and their staff. Dr Kelley's Animal Clinic is truly about the caring for the animal and not about putting money in their pockets and they will do everything in their power to help you out.“

“I think the place is very nice, the vet were very nice and everyone there was very gentle with our cats, but their pricing is definitely on the higher end, really depends on your budget“

“We boarded our two cats here for nine days. They were at the cat cottages, and I requested the jungle room, which was the largest of the rooms. They were well taken care of by the staff, who came in to feed, and have a little playtime with them daily.
They sent me updates with pictures every day, so I could see them and know any concerns, if there were any.
I would happily board them there again!“

Doja had a poor response to her previous vaccines. This was documented in our post-visit call. I loved this was reviewed before her appointment, and as a result, was pre-treated for nausea. She did fantastic this round!

Just for transparency if anyone is wondering about pricing, we paid $2200 for a cleaning and some extractions, which is more than what we were quoted. Not any cheaper than a regular vet office. They did take good care of our pup, but cost is pretty dang high.“

“Kentwood cat clinic was the best experience my cat has ever had at a vet. I moved to Michigan recently and have been looking for a good vet for my beloved cat and Dr. Pair was that, she was very kind and knowledgeable. Sarah was the technician and she was great as well. I normally worry about if my cat will be scared and try to protect himself at the vet and I could tell in the exam room he felt so comfortable! He was more like the cat I see at home than a scared boy wanting to leave and go home right away. I think it's a combination of the wonderful staff as well as it's a cat only clinic. Highly recommend them if you have a cat.“
