“Once I discovered walled Lake veterinary hospital it is the only place we take our doggies. All the doctors are kind, compassionate, and patient. They are knowledgeable and always find answers to health problems. The receptionists, technicians, and assistants are equally kind and compassionate.“

“Dr. Brad Schumaier has been really great. He is our 2 Shiba Inu's only vet. They have not seen anyone else since they have been born. Recently, the oldest one has gotten through anxiety/behavior issues of some sort. Which has been really stressful for us and I'm sure for our baby. Nonetheless, he, the Doctor is really patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and we are glad he is familiar with the breed. I don't even think there are many DVM who are.“

“I switched to this vet after being quoted for a $4-$5k surgery for a dime sized bump on my 11-year-old cat. The previous vet (that I had been with for 7 years) did not aspirate the bump or even thoroughly pull away his fur to get a good look at it. Dr. Ast was kind, spent sufficient time with me and my pet, and then drained what turned out to be a fluid filled cyst in less than 5 minutes with a needle so fine that aftercare is not needed. $90 later and the bump that stressed me out for a month is no more. While it is likely to return, I will take occasional draining of a small cyst any day over putting my senior cat under anesthesia for a $5k surgery. I should say that I waited longer than expected; however, I know it was due to a very hard appointment for a pet and owner that I walked in with. I will wait anytime knowing that this vet spent time comforting an owner and pet in a very delicate time. Both of my cats will now be coming to this location full time. Highly recommend!“

“My year old kitty was very sick, stopped eating, stopped playing, was very lethargic and throwing up. His vet wouldn't see him for a week which was unacceptable. I called Airport vet and they got my sweet baby in the next day even though he wasn't a current patient. The were so kind and gentle with him, turns out he had pancreatitis. They explained everything to me thoroughly, showed me the blood tests and x-rays. Got him some in office treatment along with meds to take home and got his records from the previous "vet". Two days later he's back to his playful hungry self! Airport Veterinary Hospital is his place now and I will always recommend them to other animal parents because they prioritized his care and well-being.“

Waterford animal clinics staff was so understanding, compassionate, all while showing extreme concern and love for our boy. This will forever be the place I bring my animals.

“The staff was very patient with our new puppy as she worked through some anxiety on her first visit. They jumped right in to help get her in the building and settled. During the appointment, they were very present and spent the time needed to answer questions, provide recommendations, etc. and never seem to be trying to rush us out for the next appointment. Their focus was completely on my dog and me as they provided care.“
