The staff is very rude. I gave 2 stars because they managed to get me in fast for a non emergency urgent issue, and they aren't super expensive, but the receptionist was rude and curt on the phone. She was even worse in the office, was very condescending and I couldn't ask the questions about aftercare that I needed to because of her curtness. It seemed like she practically threw the paperwork and medication at me to get me out. And then rolled her eyes and handed me the vaccine information when I asked. This woman should not be working with people or pets with her lack of compassion and little regard for others.

So impressed with the care and service at Salem Vet. We were new patients last weekend and had a good experience with routine vaccinations, but then this morning I called because my dog had an infected bug bite. We were seen almost immediately and the doctor had us out the door and taken care of in under 15 minutes!! I'm sure part of that was luck, but I really appreciated the doctor's willingness to squeeze us in.

Great veterinarians, and very reasonably priced. The only downpart is a very unfriendly vet assistant who should not be working with the public. When you greet her, she doesn't even make eye contact or respond back to you..They used to have a girl that had a melt down when I was there. She was crying and slamming a metal clipboard on the front desk in front of about 4 customers. Going absolutely crazy.
