“My cat Willow has been seeing Dr Duncan for 6-7 yrs for cardiomyopathy (life expectancy about 1 yr) she suddenly went into cimplete heart failure, she spent the night at the emergency vet, but OAH allowed me to make an early am appt for the next day. We brought her in, she had to see a new vet since it was Dr Duncan's surgery day, but she was able to talk to him and we all decided she was "ok" but needed close minitoring. When he got out of surgery Dr Duncan called to check on her, but unfortunately we were back at the emergency vet where we lost her. A few days later when they were notified Dr Duncan called to tell me how sorry they were and offer condolences....not a huge deal, but something he didn't have to do and made me feel that he cared about my baby and understood how hard it was for us to lose her.“

They got us in quickly, explained everything in full detail and answered all of my questions. They even called next day to check how she was doing. So happy I decided to bring our pup here.“

“My last vet sold his business. I had been going there for years. My dog Bella pooped a puddle of blood, I called to see if I could bring Bella in right away and was told I had to schedule an appt. The recommendation was to take her to an emergency hospital.I called Dr. Schwartz's office. He was able to see her that day.I was grateful that Dr. Schwartz was able to diagnose and give Bella medicine that afternoon. Since that day, Dr. Schwartz has become Bella and Jay's Veternarian. Dr. Schwartz and the staff at Downtown Veterinarian Clinic are outstanding. I highly recommend this clinic.“
“We had recently moved to the area and I had not yet found a new vet for my dog when he suddenly became ill the week of Thanksgiving. My dog is quite old so naturally I was quite worried that the time had come for me to have to make a very hard decision about his care moving forward. This thought created some anxiety for me and I’m sure it showed in my shaky voice and rambling of thought I was expressing in just the phone call to see if he could even get an appointment on such short notice. The front desk staff was so incredibly kind and compassionate and did not hesitate to schedule my dog an appointment. Further, the care we received from the rest of the staff, as well as from the doctor during the appointment was excellent. I couldn’t be more happy with the experience we had and the care we received from the first phone call all the way through to the completion of the appointment. My dog is happy and healthy and so are we!“

“Everyone was very friendly and the vet was fast and efficient. The only downside would be the wait to go back to be seen and the waiting room is so small. Parking is awful as well.“
