“Lisa is an incredible Massage Therapist and a Phenomenal Healer.

I've seen her for a few sessions now and she remains my go-to person for massages in Detroit. She is very knowledgable when it comes to Traditional Chinese Medicine as well, and sustains a detailed, firm pressure throughout the duration of the entire appointment. If hard massages aren't your thing, don't waste your time here. Sometimes the massage can be painful and intense, but it is very much worth it, I promise. I deal with a lot of tension from working out and no one can resolve it the way she can.

Also, the price is very affordable. $110 for 90 minutes is unheard of. Make sure to leave her a big tip.

Now, some cons...she doesn't have a receptionist so if another customer enters the business, she will have to interrupt the massage to tell them she is busy. This is hardly a deal breaker for me. I come to expect it now and I'm so relaxed from her focused, deep tissue work that it doesn't matter.

And as another reviewer said, she is probably going to give you unwarranted advice on your diet and/ or your body during the session. Just...take it with a grain of salt and have an open mind. It's unconventional, yes, but her recommendations actually make sense and I feel better when I follow them too. I've even lost weight.

I'm incredibly grateful for the work Lisa does and hope she stays in the Detroit community for a long time. I will see her as often as I can and you should too.
