“I have always had a very positive experiences going to the Academic Family Medicine office... The staff have always helped me out greatly and have contributed positively to my health. I went to the office today because I've been having some trouble with dizziness or vertigo and needed to come in to see the doctor to address it. With it being very icy and below freezing outside I'm very uncomfortable walking long distances to get places because I've fallen and hurt myself before and don't want to again. I was beyond frustrated and angry to find that whoever plowed the parking lot filled TWO of the precious available parking spots alongside the building with snow... If this were a small property it might make more sense that that's where the plow driver chose to leave it, but there is a massive parking lot across the entryway that the driver could have easily pushed the snow there. I don't have a handicap parking spot despite having difficulty walking and problems with my balance. I entered into my doctor's appointment feeling very emotional and stressed out about how far I had to walk and how much icy pavement I had to navigate. This should be addressed with whoever did the plowing whether it's for me or another person who needs extra help to get to their doctor appointment, NO spots this close to the building should ever be filled with a leftover push of snow plow snow.“
