“I usually bathe my boys at home but my boy Sisu was blowing coat tenfold!! He was due for his spring bath! I’ve always been hesitant of taking my GSD to a groomer cause I’ve seen the horror stories of GSDs getting SHAVED without owner consent. BUT someone recommended Melinda at Puppy Love and I was not disappointed! Learning that she owns GSDs herself, I knew my boy was in good hands! GSDs are notorious for having their weird quirks, skin issues and hating their feet messed with, but I knew Melinda would know all about that! I was able to talk to her right before his grooming to go over details, wants, needs. I was able to call and check in to see how he was doing. One thing I love is she took her time, wasn’t rushed. My boy can tend to get overstimulated due to being a working line GSD and gets excited and always happy, so taking her time was such a nice touch. When I went to pick him up, HE LOOKS GORGEOUS!!! Melinda worked her magic on getting him de-shed, I swear my boy slimmed down 5lbs ? Beautiful moisturized coat, which is what he needed due to him getting super dry down his back area. I clipped his nails prior to the grooming due to him always being finicky with his feet and told her that if she’s able to dremel, awesome, but if not that’s not a problem. She tried it out but he wasn’t having it so she didn’t push it since it was his first time working with her. All the groomers in the shop said he was such a good boy and loved him so much! I’m happy to say we have found our go to groomer! 100/10 recommend!!“

“I came in during what seemed to be a busy time but I did not feel rushed out at all. Sam answered a lot of my questions (and yes, there was a lot) and Krissy took me on the tour and really eased my nerves, as this is my first time considering dog boarding. The dogs seemed comfortable and happy, and Krissy was greeting them each by name! Our baby boy even gave her kisses and that's rare for him!! I feel way more comfortable now about bringing our baby now.“

“I had taken my cat here for several years. Dr Crawshaw and Dr Poindexter and all the staff are very friendly and attentive. The last year of my old boys life we were there monthly for Solensia injections, they were always great with him and were there for us at the very end. They also offer boarding and grooming on site.“

“Kat came to groom my Zuma for the first time today and she did am amazing job!
Zuma can be a handful and I've had an extremely difficult time finding her a new groomer after her old groomer retired.

I am so thankful to Kat because I was starting to feel very defeated but Kat came and saved the day after over a year of trying to find a groomer who was the right fit for my baby!
