“This is for the Urgent Care Center, not the hospital, but I believe they are within the same organizational hierarchy. The first impression was not great, as the waiting room was crowded and the wait times were long. It would explain many of the negative reviews, but I expect most of those were walk-ins with unrealistic expectations. In fact, while waiting I witnessed one younger women walk-in, then have a meltdown regarding the wait after a mere 5 minutes, so there's that. Nevertheless, do yourself a favor (if possible) and book an available appointment online - or expect an elongated walk-in waiting time. Once called into a room, the staff was very pleasant, efficient, and professional. Despite obviously carrying a heavy workload, each staff member greeted me with a very apologetic tone regarding the wait time (which I told them was 100% acceptable in my view, given the circumstances). I would have given them 5 stars, but the one area of improvement would be the first impression of the receptionists in the waiting room. While their demeaner was forgivable if not understandable, they would do better to learn to de-escalate much of the angst regarding the waiting period with a simple smile and a bit of empathy over the situation.“
