“I can't say enough good things about this company!! I never used them before for anything, but a rental unit of mine needed a new hvac system, and after getting numerous OUTRAGEOUS quotes, I went with Adams & Sons. Several reasons, for one, Brady was the ONLY person who came in with boot protectors, thays a big deal to me, shows they care about being clean! They also had not only the best price but they were the only ones who offered to place the furnace where I wanted it! (In the crawl space). And, after everything was installed, I had a small issue with the wiring of my new thermostat I installed and with one phone call that problem was quickly fixed. So hands down this company gets an A+++“

After my old furnace's heat exchange cracked, I did a lot of research and got quotes from several companies. I really appreciated that Hart was up-front about everything, used no high pressure tactics, and was very open to answering all my technical questions.

The workers were on-time and professional, and they stayed until everything was in good working order and they had addressed all my specific concerns, and i find them both knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They also worked with me to find the best solution when there were issues with the old wiring in my zone controls that made installing the thermostat unusually tricky.

“Another contractor said I had an $800 part going bad, but also a sure sign my older furnace was on its last legs and I'd be better off to replace the furnace for $5,000. lol, Hart Heating & Air took a look to find that I just had a small silicone hose needing replacement ... due to age. JUST A HOSE was old and needed replacement, not the entire furnace.“

“Ed Keeter is not only great at fixing the vintage machines that nobody knows how to repair anymore, but he is also an incredibly kind and interesting person.

A lot of the negative reviews have to do with long wait times and difficulty getting in touch with him. Yes, this can be true. But those people must remember that they’re dealing with a very small business, as it is usually only Ed doing the repairs and one person helping him with all of the admin work. Plus, the guy is in his late 70’s! He’s not glued to his phone like most folks these days.

Yes, you may need to follow up or wait a few weeks for a part but the job WILL get done and sometimes Mr Keeter is the only person you’ll find with the knowledge to do it. That means he is in high demand!

If you have a standard machine or appliance that you’re looking to get fixed quickly, Keeter’s might not be the place for you. If you have an older or vintage appliance that needs fixing and are not in a huge hurry, Mr. Keeter will make sure it gets taken care of properly and he will go above and beyond to find the correct parts and also teach you a thing or two along the way.

Sincerely, a very thankful owner of an oven and washer/dryer from the 60’s that would have had to been replaced with something far less interesting had we not found Ed :)
