Had a great experience with Jason and his crew! They provided me a detailed quote for my deck refinishing, house painting, and installation of all new railings. I recently reached out to Lakeside Roofing after hours for water damage in our garage that was caused by an ice dam that had formed on our roof. Phil responded quickly and was at our house in less than 30 minutes and removed the dam. His quick response ensured that the damage to our home was limited. He then he helped us navigate working with our insurance company. Due to the extreme winter weather, we aren't able to fully address the issue that led to the ice dam until the Spring, but Phil has worked with us to ensure that no further damage occurs until then. We would 100% recommend Lakeside Roofing, their responsiveness and level of communication can't be beat in this area!

Shop has changed for the better. Roosevelt is a great guy from what my son and I experienced. The owner gets right down to business and makes sure of the style you're looking for before he starts. He doesn't talk a whole lot but he's focused on getting it right the first time. 5 stars for a good respectable man with skill and class.

The rumor is this shop will be renamed to Emerald Envy very soon. This was my first visit and I came on short notice anticipating a trip to Chicago for the weekend. Heidi did a bang up job. Great chops, clean facility, professional and friendly service, many forms of payment accepted and walk-in service is welcome.

Love these ladies! The prices and accommodations are really exemplary. I feel like I can really treat myself to a service or two because they are so affordable. No need to hair your hair grow out beyond being recognizable because you couldn't afford to keep up with the maintenance. I feel like it's personal, tailored, and beyond any experience I've had before. No one has done my hair is such a way in a looong time. That being said about the prices...they are reasonable so be sure to tip you beauty guru extra.
We called Ballard Sewer Cleaning when our toilet backed up and wouldn’t flush. They arrived within 24 hours of calling, quickly unclogged our toilet and noticed our sink was running slow, so they fixed that too.

Ed Keeter is not only great at fixing the vintage machines that nobody knows how to repair anymore, but he is also an incredibly kind and interesting person.
A lot of the negative reviews have to do with long wait times and difficulty getting in touch with him. Yes, this can be true. But those people must remember that they’re dealing with a very small business, as it is usually only Ed doing the repairs and one person helping him with all of the admin work. Plus, the guy is in his late 70’s! He’s not glued to his phone like most folks these days.
Yes, you may need to follow up or wait a few weeks for a part but the job WILL get done and sometimes Mr Keeter is the only person you’ll find with the knowledge to do it. That means he is in high demand!
If you have a standard machine or appliance that you’re looking to get fixed quickly, Keeter’s might not be the place for you. If you have an older or vintage appliance that needs fixing and are not in a huge hurry, Mr. Keeter will make sure it gets taken care of properly and he will go above and beyond to find the correct parts and also teach you a thing or two along the way.
Sincerely, a very thankful owner of an oven and washer/dryer from the 60’s that would have had to been replaced with something far less interesting had we not found Ed :)

Henderson Bros. have done major work for me twice, the latest being the removal of a massive tree, stump grinding, and topsoil fill. Communications with Tom were thorough and timely. His estimates were fair, and the timeline and scope of work was accurate and clear. Importantly, Henderson Bros. have the correct equipment for the job. My backyard is very small, with a single-lane driveway, and no alley access. Henderson's have a small-scale scissor lift bucket that permitted them to easily get 60+ feet up. The log clean-up was significant, and they had the loaders to handle it. Finally, the topsoil spreading and site clean-up was exceptional. While all their services are excellent, residents with trees in restrictive spaces should definitely call Henderson Bros.
