They also worked with me to find the best solution when there were issues with the old wiring in my zone controls that made installing the thermostat unusually tricky.

A lot of the negative reviews have to do with long wait times and difficulty getting in touch with him. Yes, this can be true. But those people must remember that they’re dealing with a very small business, as it is usually only Ed doing the repairs and one person helping him with all of the admin work. Plus, the guy is in his late 70’s! He’s not glued to his phone like most folks these days.

Yes, you may need to follow up or wait a few weeks for a part but the job WILL get done and sometimes Mr Keeter is the only person you’ll find with the knowledge to do it. That means he is in high demand!

If you have a standard machine or appliance that you’re looking to get fixed quickly, Keeter’s might not be the place for you. If you have an older or vintage appliance that needs fixing and are not in a huge hurry, Mr. Keeter will make sure it gets taken care of properly and he will go above and beyond to find the correct parts and also teach you a thing or two along the way.

Sincerely, a very thankful owner of an oven and washer/dryer from the 60’s that would have had to been replaced with something far less interesting had we not found Ed :)
