“I was in York at the beginning of August for a vacation. Lost my glasses to a rogue wave. Spent hours calling different places to try to get my glasses filled and everyone either sent me to voicemail or said no and hung up. Called York Family Eye Care just to SEE if they knew of anyone who could maybe same day fill my glasses. They asked for my prescription and within 5 minutes they called me back saying they actually had some glass with my prescription in it. Got me set up and in a new pair of glasses that night within 30 minutes. Even let me watch how the lenses get cut. Very friendly staff, very sincere too. Did not feel like I was being preyed on for my own mistake at all. They were completely open and honest about the whole process with me from the start. I highly recommend this eye care to facility to any and everyone in the area. Even if you’re just visiting for vacation like I was.”
