We have a Samsung oven that would often turn to broil when in bake mode. This almost caused several serious fires in our oven. We ordered the correct part and Atlantic Handyman came and installed it. They were reliable, efficient, and completely fixed our annoying Samsung oven. I would definitely use them again in the future!

I was in York at the beginning of August for a vacation. Lost my glasses to a rogue wave. Spent hours calling different places to try to get my glasses filled and everyone either sent me to voicemail or said no and hung up. Called York Family Eye Care just to SEE if they knew of anyone who could maybe same day fill my glasses. They asked for my prescription and within 5 minutes they called me back saying they actually had some glass with my prescription in it. Got me set up and in a new pair of glasses that night within 30 minutes. Even let me watch how the lenses get cut. Very friendly staff, very sincere too. Did not feel like I was being preyed on for my own mistake at all. They were completely open and honest about the whole process with me from the start. I highly recommend this eye care to facility to any and everyone in the area. Even if you’re just visiting for vacation like I was.
Coastal Kitchen & Bath is the best. We first worked with them designing and remodeling our kitchen--which we love. After that great experience, we asked them to remodel our bathroom. Another great job! The bathroom exceeds our expectations. Robin, Nicole, and Kurt are quick to respond to questions and concerns and adjust to our changing our minds now and then. I contacted Sage to lead a private yoga practice on the beach for a bachelorette party I hosted last weekend and it was amazing! Sage was extremely easy to work with, quick to respond, and supplied everything we needed. The practice was the perfect pace for our group and we all really enjoyed starting our morning this way. I called Sara after walking out of two other salons in the area. She came in on her day off so that she could do my nails, after her nail technician quit. The manicure and pedicure were flawless! Michelle Low owner of Inner Balance Bodywork did a fantastic deep body massage. She was very knowledgeable about all the mechanics of the my shoulder and hip joints. She identified and released the stress knots in the muscles to the point I had my full range of motion back. Michelle was very professional. I would highly recommend going to Inner Balance!
Dan, The Tree Guy did a great job both removing several large trees that were potentially going to fall. He also trimmed all hanging branches near our house. He and his team were extremely professional, they cleaned the entire yard on completion and you would never know they were there. I highly recommend Dan for any and all tree services. Outstanding work!

Total Demolition removed a 10x16 shed at the end of our yard taking care not to damage the yard , not an easy task considering the ground was soft. All debris was removed and area cleaned. I would highly recommend their services.

My father in law who lives in York Maine uses Zack and his Guys at Flat for all his landscaping needs. He loves their work. They usually start in the spring undoing all the plow guys damage to the rock driveway and then keeps the lawn mowed for the summer. He's super happy with them. They are a clean cut crew, and always polite when I've had dealing with them while over helping on the house.

First let me say that the other (anonymous) review is total BS.I hired Ozzie to construct a second unit (ADU) for my mom to live in. After close to a year of daily interaction I can say you would hard pressed to find a more honest contractor. Ozzie and his brother handle all aspects of many types of projects and communicate well. I learned a lot from my time spent discussing various decisions and issues that always come up in construction projects.We also had them build an additional room onto the main house after the ADU was completed.Everything Ozzie does is always up to code and beyond. No corners cut.He will give you estimates in writing which were all pretty close to the final costs. If you're looking for a contractor in this area you should definitely consider talking to Ozzie.(I attached a few before and after pics.)

Want to go to the best massage place in southern Maine? Go to the Zen Spa. I have an issue with my left shoulder and right knee and hip, and the pain is now GONE! They will ask if you want hard pressure, and I opted for medium in general and hard for my painful shoulder. I've seen other reviews mentioning language barrier issues, but I didn't have a problem as long as I didn't try idle chit chat. I believe they use traditional Chinese massage techniques, which i personally tend to prefer. Bella asked me throughout if I was ok with the pressure and the heat of the stones, etc. She's the best! I've been there once before and had a different therapist who did things slightly differently, but it was still fantastic. It's best to call or book online, as it is difficult for the therapists to make an appointment for walk ins when they have clients. It's a small, no frills place, but it's clean and nice. Prices are very reasonable.
