“When I arrived, there was a minor miscommunication, but it got sorted out quickly. The salon was extremely clean and fully stocked with supplies, which I always notice and appreciate. The young lady who opened the salon took me to the shampoo bowl and got started. I’d already detangled my hair a bit beforehand, so it wasn’t too rough, though she still put in the work. She applied a deep conditioner, then had me pre-dry after another round of conditioner and detangling.
A few minutes into the pre-dry, Katty came over and started blow-drying my hair straight. Now, I’m tender-headed and one of those people who can’t sit under the big dryers for long, so I usually have to pick my battles. Not this time. Katty was amazing with my head. She took her time, blow-dried carefully, and trimmed off my dead ends without cutting into my length. I really appreciated that, because some stylists will chop the hair down instead of just trimming the ends like you asked. Katty kept my length without sacrificing the integrity of my hair, and that means a lot.
By the time she finished, my hair looked fantastic and I felt great. One more thing worth mentioning: they have a barber shop in the back, so you and your boo or your kid can get serviced at the same time. Super convenient.
Will I be back? Heck yes. It was a little pricier than my previous hairdresser, but I didn’t mind one bit.”
