“Rob and his team (Hammis, Darwin, Erickson, Paulo, Raul, Tony, and Miguel) at Best Buy really helped us out. We moved into a house that, unbeknownst to us, had serious issues with not only basement flooding, but the actual water table. The previous owners had installed gutter systems, runoff drains, and an inadequate French drain system in attempts to stop basement flooding. Rob was able to assess right away that the basement leaks were from the water table being so high, it was submerging the basement at all times, and that water management would be necessary to avoid/stop foundational damage. Rob’s team installed a heavy duty sump pump all the way down to the water table, a drainage system around the perimeter and interior of the basement walls, performed mold remediation, and installed a full vapor barrier, plus a drain grate outside the basement. They got everything done in a day! And when we had an issue with our very old spigot getting stripped and leaking after they’d used it for mixing concrete, they listened and took care of the plumbing repairs without hassle.

Hands down recommend Best Buy to anyone who has a leaking basement. They will take care of it the right way and might even save your home!“

“Unlike another tile person I interviewed over the phone, before giving me an estimate Oscar Chavez came to my house to check all the details of my 88 year old tub and tiles. He patiently explained everything and respectfully answered all my questions. He and his son are a great team, and they really know their stuff. “I had an issue with an exterior door on my condo that, according to two other contractors had been installed poorly and was now "warped" and would have to be replaced at great expense. Mark took a look at the door and, while agreeing that the door had been installed poorly, suggested he might only have to re-hang the door. So that is where we began. And finished. He was correct, my door only needed to be rehung and not only did he do a wonderful job, and in an incredibly timely manner, he saved me a LOT of money. “We used WLC for our addition and whole house remodel and I cannot say enough good things about them! It was an extensive project in which we moved an exterior basement door, did a 2 story addition that included a new kitchen and primary suite, flipped 2 staircases to make them safe, opened up 2 major walls requiring 2 large beams, updated every bathroom, added a mud room and small porch, and refinished floors and drywall to tie the new construction seamlessly with the rest of the house. Suffice to say it was a very large job!Skippy and his father Skip are incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of home construction and design. Skippy worked with our architect to come up with practical solutions to get us what we really wanted and save us money. He also has a great eye for design and editing when necessary.WLC used sub contractors just like many other builders do, but the ones they use they have worked with for years and I was just as happy with every sub contract as I was with WLC. Their concrete guys, electricians, plumbers, roofers, flooring folks, and tile guys were all professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also have Kyle who is a true jack of all trades! He also happens to be Skippy’s brother in law. So if you are looking for a family run operation with professionals you can trust look no further than WLC! There are larger operations out there that might be able to turn out a faster bid, but I’m so glad we went with WLC.
