“Dr Spiegel,DO, and Dr. Jennifer Gularson, PA, outperformed Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital, several independent practices (including Fx medicine) and every Primary Care Provider I have seen since my teens. I could not have recovered without them from multiple work injuries, while saving money by avoiding unnecessary, ineffective treatments and testing. I can walk and breathe again, use my arms & legs relatively pain free and leave the house without planning out where the bathrooms are. Their expertise and systematic, evidence based approach truly treat the whole person. I have minimal pain (6/10 resting to 2/10 doing my activities of daily living and working on the computer). Dr Spiegel was faster and more skilled than Urgent Care would have been after I slipped on oil at a gas station. After that, I sustained multiple head injuries at work for which Dr Spiegel cared for me and dealt with bureaucrats, frequent Requests for Information (RFIs) and calls from OMS and Worker’s Comp. Both Jennifer and Dr Spiegel reduced the disabling bleeding and medication rejection symptoms from an iatrogenic injury by the insurance based healthcare system. They then provided both tried & true and innovative solutions to balancing my hormones that other providers did not have any useful recommendations for. Jennifer helped me reduce severe histamine reactions from an occupational illness that caused major GI challenges and shortness of breath . I'm so glad that I found Dr Spiegel and Jennifer several years ago.“

I’ve had my share of injuries throughout my life, you name it; a ligament or muscle group and I’m sure I probably injured it doing something. The past few months I’ve been dealing with a horrible reoccurring lower back injury that makes my entire body tense, tight, and painful just to do just about anything.
Growing up with a chiropractor with my family, i saw a chiropractic as a steppingstone only keep you limber but not to heal your body. Bedore seeing Dr. Spencer, I’ve had my share of chiropractors who are more money grabbers than actually give a damn about trying to heal or fix your injur. Immediately after coming to Dr. Spencer, he identified all of the problems that were plaguing me along with other problems that I didn’t even realize I had. In a span of two months, I went from having pain every single day to almost nonexistent pain, and have routinely been seeing Dr. Spencer for better critiques on how to get back into being more physically active. I could not recommend him enough. 12/5 stars!“

My first appointment was with Dr. Davis who was very thorough and helpful. She cares very much about her patients' well being and is very passionate about her work. A BIG THANKS to therapist David Siemien who is always pleasant, efficient and compassionate. He patiently showed me every exercises, took the time to walk me through it. Some days, I came in with more pains than usual. David always tried very hard to make me feel better by using the massage gun, the taping on my knee and EMS. If you are looking for a good PT, I highly recommend Fyzical at Rockville. Everyone is super nice & friendly here. The front desk staff, Jennifer, is also amazing. Thank you all!“

“Dr Fishkin worked magic on my sciatica. It was truly shocking how I could go in with pain and leave pain free. He did dry needling on me. I wish I had gone to him before spending a fortune on acupuncture which did not help me when I was suffering with bursitis. And then going to a physiatrist (pain management doctor) even though he gave me a shot of cortisone. Dr. Fishkin may very well may have cured that problem too. My son and daughter in law raved about him for a long time. I am so glad I went to him. Now I am having orthotics made by him. I have had two pairs of orthotics made in the last 4 years by podiatrists which did not relieve my pain at all. So, hopefully these might. I will follow up on that after I wear them for a while. Dr Fishkin is very direct and tells it like it is, and yet he is also very nice. He cared to be sure I was comfortable while getting the dry needling.“

“My daughter is 6 years old and has Down syndrome. I have committed my life to ensuring that she has access to what she needs to thrive. She has been receiving OT and PT services since she was 8 weeks in addition to other services to address learning differences and developmental delays. We have participated in therapies upwards of 4x per week. I thoroughly research facilities and their providers and read all the reviews. We began our special needs journey in San Diego where there are great providers and facilities. My expectations are high. We moved to MoCo two years ago and have worked with two other clinics to support my daughter’s SLP, OT and PT needs. With that information as a qualifier, here is my honest review of Fitness for Health (FFH)…PROS: FFH is hands down the best therapeutic gym there is. It’s so unique and state-of-the-art that I sought out an opportunity to speak with the owner myself about the facility. His name is Marc. He shared that his vision for FFH was to simply create what he “wished he had growing up”. You can absolutely tell that this was (and most importantly still is) the goal! What Marc has built is second to none!FFH seems to attract some of the best therapist in the area with very little turnover. Provider fit is important for my daughter and losing her providers (who she calls friends) can be traumatic and result in regression of skills. The therapist at FFH enjoy working there. One therapist told me that Marc is open to new ideas from his therapist and supports them by ensuring he adds any requested new equipment to the gym regularly. I can't begin to tell you all that is there. Marc has invested a lot of money back into his business and the equipment is like nothing I have ever seen at any other facility I've been a part of or toured. I believe Marc’s commitment to his vision, therapist, and our children is why his facility is so phenomenal. Also, at FFH we work with licensed therapist rather than therapy assistants (if that is important to you).Lastly, and important to me, the policies and practices of the facility are considerate and fair. So long as you’re not abusing their cancellation / missed appointment policy they work with you when something unforeseen happens. They know and understand the market they serve. If you can get a time slot at FFH that fits your schedule or if you can rearrange your schedule to fit FFH, do it! You won’t find a better place in the DMV area (or possibly even the Country). I highly, highly, highly recommend FFH!CONS: I wish all my daughter’s developmental needs could be serviced here. They currently only offer OT and PT with camp options that integrate SLP and ABA support. I am hoping that FFH adds SLP and ABA providers permanently to their service offerings. I believe SLP and ABA therapist would really love working with the children through movement and FFH has everything they could dream up. As of now, families needing SLP and ABA are contending with long waitlist (especially for after school slots), cash only practices (I don’t see how I could add insurance reimbursement paperwork to my existing workload), and/or providers that are still virtual (no thanks!).While FFH is conveniently located off Rockville Pike in North Bethesda, it is easy to miss. You could pass it every day and not know it.“
