“Dry needling has been a cure for me! I had a very old hip injury (turns out a sprain) for many many years I went to see different orthopedic doctors that could not find anything wrong based on the xrays and the MRIs, their diagnosis: Bursitis of the hip.Most of them recommended physical therapy, which I did but pain would return, others recommended cortisone shots and even surgery last resort. Well I did NOT want any of them, even though I was NOT able to do squats, or run, or bicycle (these movements would aggravate my hip pain).THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HEARD OF DRY NEEDELING, (where they insert a very thin needle (like acupuncture needle) targeting the tight muscle, and quickly removing the needle) and VOILA the pain is GONE!!I don't like needles, not a phobia but just don't like them. I had 4 needles inserted total, 3/4 were not painful at all just a small discomfort. There's soreness the next day but PAIN FREE and STILL pain free after 1.5 months. Amazing just AMAZING! Now I just need to strengthen the muscles in the hip and leg areas, they gave me exercises to do at home.Ken, Rebecca, and Mona are all very friendly and accommodating. Would def recommend to others !FYI. I only went to the Gaithersburg location, small and renovated and there are many other practices in the same building. IF you park on the largest parking lot its easier to find their practice.“
“Dr. Park’s extensive knowledge and of the human body is unparalleled. He’s not the kind of doctor who only understands from a chair or a book- he’s also a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu who deals with athlete injuries constantly. This gives him a unique perspective many lack and makes him a formidable opponent for whatever injury you’re suffering from. I cannot recommend Progressive Spinal and Sports Rehab enough! I cannot count the times I went into his office in pain or limping and left feeling renewed. 5 stars ??“

He has also helped my wife recover from a frozen shoulder and my son strengthen his muscles to better resist dislocations caused by Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. In addition to knowing how to help the body recover, he knows how to make therapy a pleasure with his pleasant banter and caring nature.“

“I’ve never visited a chiropractor before and for the first time I had to use one due to an accident. I was pleasantly surprised. My uninformed impression disappeared. I became educated. The office staff including Dr Stephen acted professionally and smiled during all my visitation & interactions with them. Dr Stephen explained to me what to expect during the treatment. I recommend to anyone who requires their services. I however wished they open on Saturdays (????)“
