“It's truly refreshing to find a company that stands by their service and Calvert Exterminators does just that. Furthermore, the service they provide is truly superior.

I manage properties in DC and was having horrible rat issues where they were getting into one of my tenant's basements. I sealed up the entire exterior and the rats were still managing to get in (spoiler alert: it was probably through my neighbor's basement and them tunneling up from under my foundation). This tenant's basement is extremely cluttered and it is difficult to properly search for penetration points. A colleague recommended Calvert Exterminators to me and said that their dogs will find where the rats are getting in. I scheduled an initial inspection, which would be without dogs, and, to be honest, it wasn't quite what I hoped. The recommendations were a bit general and didn't get to the root of the problems in my opinion. I wrote an email to them and said that the initial inspection wasn't quite what I expected. That same day, the owner, Dennis, called me, asked me about my situation, said he was certain they could meet my expectations, waived the inspection fee, and asked if he could make the situation right. I told him absolutely and he scheduled a canine inspection.

Noah, the inspector and canine handler, was extremely polite and professional. Within 15 minutes, Chaos, the rat terrier, identified several penetration points and then Noah talked through a plan and gave me a number of his professional recommendations. Additionally, he provided an informative report afterwards. I was extremely impressed with both the canine inspection and Calvert Exterminator's commitment to quality. Unfortunately, rats in DC are a fact of life, but I will certainly use and recommend Calvert Exterminators to others in the future!“
