“Hamilton is great. They are reasonable and explain the issue so you can understand what and why they need to do what they are working on. When we first moved to our house we didn’t know about this local company and instead called a big name franchised company for the new furnace and AC unit. This was a big mistake because the big named franchise has been awful and hard to get them to come out or do quality work. It seems like they don’t want to honor the warranties on the unit and we have had several issues with malfunctioning. When we needed a new hot water tank, we decided to try a local company which was Hamilton. We were so impressed with the service and will not call another company now until we call Hamilton. We have used them now for the expansion tank and the new gas hot water tank and some drain issues and they are always reliable and courteous also. We found out that local is the best and forget those highly advertised franchise places because they do not care about good service like Hamilton does.“

“I had an appointment today to secure two toilets that were rocking (imagine rodeo potty!) and a sump pump that has never worked since I moved in 1988. The location of the sump pump is in very tight quarters, underneath a basement staircase through a very tight squeeze around the laundry tub. Gary P. was my tech, and he made some miracles happen for my home today! The first toilet, once lifted, had some incredible things underneath and was attached to a flange in such a way that was truly insecure. Quite possibly, with the right move, the toilet could have been lifted directly off of the flange - while trying to just stop it from moving. He fixed it! The second toilet was a much smoother fix, which he also did incredibly well! AND, that sump pump. He had one in the truck and was able to fit under that staircase and replace what was there with a wonderful model that now only allows one directional water flow! Things you just don't know until a seasoned professional points them out! I am incredibly grateful for the detailed explanations, the responsiveness and knowledge Gary has, and how clean every area was left (even outside of the front door where he had a sticky mat to remove debris from his shoes before coming into my home!). “Coming back to write a review a couple years later because I'm looking for contractors for a different issue and remembered how helpful these guys were for plumbing. We had a very slow-draining toilet backup, couldn't even shower in our house because the sewer line was so clogged up and it would start backing up into the downstairs toilet. We talked to two other plumbers, both said we needed a new sewer. Then we contacted C.A. Taciak and Sons and they let us know the issues with our pipes were typical for any old Baltimore home, and all we really needed was a high-pressure water jetting to clear them out. It has been over two years and no problems. And it was less than a fifth of what one of the other companies was going to charge us, and about a third of what the second company would have charged. Honest, friendly, highly recommend!“

We reached out to LJ Butler and Wes was able to come out the same day and take care of our problem. He was able to diagnose everything right away, and while other companies may have tried to get us to replace the entire hot water heater, Wes recognized that all we needed was a new expansion tank. He had all the parts and supplies in his truck and was able to get everything fixed very quickly. He even helped clean up the water that had leaked out that night. “Even though this is not a recent job, I still felt the need to share this review. This company installed a furnace for a relative of mine and saying that they definitely went above and beyond what anyone would expect a company to do would be an understatement. I do believe the main issue was this relative had buyers remorse which was not the company’s fault. However, Mr. Baker did everything in his power to resolve the “issues” but as soon as one was resolved then there would be another one, it just became a never ending cycle. As this relative’s health is deteriorating the furnace complaints are a thing of the past and there has not been any mention of their house being cold (which it never was) The time that I have interacted with this company they have always been pleasant, polite and very respectful despite the circumstances. I’m grateful for them being able to hold their composure regardless of the way they were treated, this say a lot about them as a company and their core values.“

“I called Dan about a clogged pipe that was causing a leak and water in my basement after 5pm on a Thursday. He told me he’d try his best to be able to come out the next morning. He called me at 8:30am and told me he’d be here in an hour. He and another guy showed up at 9:30am exactly and had the problems solved in less than 45 minutes for a very reasonable price!
