“This is my second review for this company. Two years ago, we engaged their services to remodel our home-built porch into a modern and beautiful sunroom, to build us a side porch to cover an exit door that had no cover, and to replace our bow window and front door with units of higher quality. They did a beautiful job transforming all of these. They worked quickly, showed up reliably, kept us informed, and cleaned up after themselves daily. We were so impressed by this company, we recently hired them again to do some extensive remodeling of our home. This time we had them make some major changes to several areas of our property. These areas included our basement in-law apartment, new vinyl siding, renewing our exterior foundation walls, replacing our kitchen and garage entry doors, installing new windows, and they designed and built a unique and beautiful backyard bridge out of Azek composite deck boards to function as an overpass to our pet kennel. The bridge is super strong and stable and is one of a kind. It adds beauty to our backyard much like a statute would. The work they did in the in-law apartment was meticulous. They reinforced and updated the wall material with fiber-reinforced panels, replaced the shabby French door with a quality one that actually seals out the elements completely, and replaced and added several interior doors and frames that had been worn out or missing. The outside of our house looks amazing with the new siding, modern windows, and painted foundation. Like the in-law apartment, the siding of the house required a lot of detail work these guys had to do, but they accomplished all of it without any trouble. In fact, the extent of our contract was broad, asking them to do a multitude of unrelated things. This company is not only professional, it is composed of talented and skilled people that can do any job you ask of them and do it well. My husband and I already have more work for Kiser and Sons to do on our home next year. As far as we are concerned, they are the best contractors in Central Maryland. We are thankful to have found them, and we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for hard working, highly skilled, and honest people to get the job done.“

“Merrell Building Enterprises, Inc. remodeled 2 of our bathrooms in the summer of 2023. My husband and I were impressed with the owner, Moses, at our initial meeting. He was knowledgeable, organized and personable. At the meeting, he provided us with a written pamphlet with specific information about his company. Shortly after our meeting, he sent us an estimate/proposal for our project.
Linda and Greg, our site supervisors, were professional, accommodating and efficient. They always informed us in advance what work was going to be done and the date/time that the workers would be arriving and leaving our house. They listened to our feedback and addressed any questions or concerns in a timely fashion.
The skilled workers were punctual, hard-working, polite and competent. They went to great lengths to protect our home from damage and to clean up after completing their work.
