“Suzy is amazing! I initially went to see her (recommendation from my friend) to fix a bad bleach job which made my hair fall out. She really listened to all of my concerns and then suggested we take baby steps to get my hair back to being healthy. Every time I went back we re-evaluated what would be best. Since going to her my hair is so much healthier and I love everything she does each time! She is so professional and so sweet! The whole atmosphere there is very welcoming and fun!“

I usually see Nicole (who is amazing!) for a cut and style, but I’ve also been to several of the other stylists, and the quality is always consistently excellent. The salon itself feels like a little oasis in Annapolis—welcoming, calming, and relaxing the moment you step inside.

I especially recommend Studio Thirty-Six to LGBTQ+ clients. These days it can feel intimidating to try new places, especially for something as personal as your hair. “Kristen did an amazing job cutting my hair. My long layers were blended so well. I’m so grateful she cut the perfect amount so my hair is healthy but still as long as possible. She is very kind and really took the time to make sure I was happy with everything. I also got a root color to cover my greys and an all over gloss and I love the color. I wanted close to my natural color and she nailed it. She also recommended the L’Oréal Professional Metal Detox shampoo which I purchased from the salon since I was experiencing dry ends and tangles no matter what I did. I’m happy I listened to her recommendation because my hair has never felt so soft and shiny. The photo I attached is with no flash in natural light after I washed and dried my hair myself 2 days after I got it done.
