“I went to Original African Hair Braiding in Jessup, MD to get a retightening of my braided micro locs. I had a lot of slippage, and many of my locs that were married and matted due to my getting a braided style on top of my locs for around 6 weeks. Me having fine hair didn't help the situation either. Matty, one of the braiders, retightened and repaired my locs. She truly is the best. She practices patience, perfection, and attention to detail. She takes the time to listen to what the client wants and never rush or take any short cuts to get the job done. If you are looking for excellence and positive energy, ask for Matty. You honestly can’t even tell that the space is being renovated as the work areas are sectioned off well and away from salon areas and clients, so no potentially unsafe conditions.

Not only did Brittney do a fantastic job by slaying my hair, she was also so sweet and welcoming and I instantly felt comfortable with her. She was accommodating, making sure to constantly check in with me during my appointment, even offering me wine during my service.
