“Alex and his team did a fantastic job of giving our deck a face lift. We initially thought about changing everything to composite with aluminum railing, but that was beyond our budget. Alex came back to us with a proposal that delivered virtually the same effect within our means. We didn’t realize that by tweaking the color slightly, the materials cost could drop dramatically—and in the end we liked the color he proposed better than the one we originally picked out. By keeping our original wooden spindles and changing out only the old wooden railing tops, floorboards, and fascia, we got a a deck that looked new for a price that fit our purse. Once Alex’s team removed the deck’s old floorboards, some safety issues became apparent: whoever had worked on that deck before we bought the house had cut corners. Alex drew these issues to our attention and fixed them. Thank you for your conscientiousness!
