“Keil Construction renovated our kitchen and two baths, installed a new heating and cooling system, installed new flooring throughout, and rewired our house. They worked on every room. Now, we wake up every morning to what feels like a brand new, yet familiar home. We’d rehire Keil Construction without hesitation.

It’s inevitable with a project of this size to have problems and mistakes along the way. I worried we would sign with a contractor who would stonewall, make excuses, charge us for surprise costs, or even walk away. Instead, Jeff Keil was straightforward, fair (generous at times), and present when we needed him.

We worked with a great architect before and throughout construction (Mike Fowler--also highly recommend), and we met regularly with Jeff to discuss progress and identify pressing issues. He addressed problems quickly, and added creative solutions to problems we didn’t even recognize.

The Keil crew built custom closets for us and did the same for our bathroom vanity. The quality is much better and the price was more than fair, probably less expensive. Jeff suggested adding window transoms above doorways in a dark hallway, vastly increasing light. They repurposed bricks from a previously unknown chimney to reface our sad looking garage. When the new fencing wasn’t as tall as the plans called for or when the furnace system wasn’t the right kind, Jeff simply made things right, no questions asked. The office team helped keep things on track.

They are not a cheap contractor, but I found that the cost was very much worth it as the work was excellent, they don't take shortcuts, and Dave and Amilcar gave us a lot of input and advice on approaches, places to save a few bucks, and where we have to spend.

Good home renovations are expensive, but it is way cheaper than bad home renovations, expensive surprises, and lawsuits. SDC will get it right the first time, and when the unexpected pops up, they are upfront about what needs to be done.“

“We completed a full house renovation with Four Brothers in 2025 after a fire had forced us out in early 2024. Four Brothers was EXCEPTIONAL. Their expertise, honesty, efficiency, and designs were outstanding. This was the third major building project we have done on our house, and it was by far the best experience (which is saying a lot especially since it was a complete gut and therefore at least 75% more work than any previous project.) The design team was incredibly creative, hard-working, and open. The admin team was always a pleasure to work with, and completely on top of every detail of the job. The lead builder was so expert on every building thing, and incredibly responsive, trustworthy, and respectful of our home. We are SO grateful that someone referred Four Brothers to us, and we wholeheartedly recommend them and would use them again.“
