“I have been a client at vanity for years and have never had a bad experience. Mel, the owner, is a sweetheart, and the rest of the team is very talented too. I routinely get lash lifts and brow shaping. While the services are pricy, I do feel it’s worth the value since it lasts a while and I can roll out of bed with no need for makeup. When I want extra pampering I really enjoy their facials. I really like that they give you a little shoulder massage while the mask processes too! My first appointment with her was for a haircut (layered cut), which she did a great job and at the same time, I had a good chat with her about the possibility of trying some subtle highlights on my hair. I’ve been getting lashes for years and have become very familiar and picky about what makes a great lash artist.

Here’s what I always look for, and what she absolutely nails every time:
- Quality of materials: no issues, no discomfort, and they always look beautiful.
- A natural eye for design: she instantly knows what will suit your face and or how to get you to the look you want, while still listening and collaborating
- Fair pricing: beyond fair if you ask me. lashes are an investment, especially these days, but with her they feel genuinely worth it
- Retention: I don’t expect miracles, in fact normally I’d prefer regular/more frequent fills to keep everything perfect, but with her the retention consistently impresses, often spacing fills loosely at 3 weeks and still lookin pretty strong then ? (my experience w/ other techs being more like a consistent 2-2.5 weeks max before I’m dying to get back in)

So yeah, She checks every box. ?
I was new to the area and tried a few lash artists before finding her, and I’m so glad our paths crossed now for almost a year now. The quality and service are already top-tier, but honestly the best part is how much I enjoy being in her chair every couple of weeks ??‍♀️

“It was a great experience! I have been searching a while for a place where I could get certified for my spray tanning and I came across Alexis at the beauty loft. Signing up for class was simple. Alexis made sure that I was Fully prepared for class. The space that I had my training and it was warm and welcoming and cozy and I felt right at home. Alexis training presentation was really informative and she took her time to make sure that I understood all the Content and saved space for all of my questions. I was super nervous when it came time for the hands-on live models but Alexis and the models that she chose were amazing and put me at ease. And all the business acumen nuggets she was providing me felt genuine and like she is really invested in my success as a spray tan Artist. I’m super pumped with my starter kit that I purchased as well through the program. At some point I want to get lash certified and there are places much closer to home for me to go to but I’m definitely gonna come back to the beauty loft. I highly recommend her to everyone“

I was also really happy with my hair because I was concerned that my extra long veil was going to pull out the style but Betsy told me how to place and remove the veil safely so it wasn’t a problem.
