I occasionally wear individual braids throughout the year and Detra always takes care of my hair before going into braids (protein treatment, trim) and when I am exiting braids. “10 stars! I made an extremely last minute appointment this past Thursday morning for Thursday afternoon for my daughter’s hair for prom on Friday. The lady was kind enough to squeeze her in after another salon canceled her appointment. I want to believe that they canceled it after her consultation due to her hair being really long and having extremely fine and lifeless texture. But Cocktails of Beauty came in clutch!! They were able to braid it down after washing and the sew in came out flawless! She’s never had a sew in, so this was all new to us, but they took very good care of her hair. Keli at NV Salon is my hero!! She cut and layered my hair all while teaching me about my hair and telling me what products to use/how to use them for my hair type. She’s so sweet, kind, and fun! “The loc journey is individual and gives something different to each person. Tammy was recommended through a friend who I've watched her locs blossom into beauty and elegance. I just started my locs in June with Tammy, so I'm early on, but this review is about the styling she did for me for a wedding I was a part of. Tammy figured out, on the spot, how to integrate synthetic locs into my hair to achieve the style. My goodness did it turn out wonderful! “This is great salon. I came because my mom regularly has Berry do her updo braids style. But that’s not all Berry can do! I went in to get my hair dyed to cover my gray. Berry noticed that it had been a long time since my last trim and did a great cut to get rid of my split ends. The shampoo was lovely. And since I only went in for the dye, I was prepared to leave and do a wash n go at home. But Berry did a beautiful silk press for me. I received so many compliments on the style / curls.
