I was pleasantly surprised by the brow waxing at Shubh Beauty. They are located inside the Bowie Walmart, so I've passed by countless times, and finally decided to stop in today. I wasn't sure if I wanted wax or thread, as I've done both in the past, but I ended up going with threading and my brows came out so clean and neat. I was serviced by Krupal/Ms. K, who was so sweet and patient. Customer service was 10/10. The prices are also amazingly affordable!

I visited ReVamp ReNue after making the difficult decision to cut my waist length locs. The shop is beautiful, clean and well maintained! She took the time to sit down with me and make sure that was really what I wanted to do. She also helped me to decide on the type of style I wanted just by asking me a few questions. She also prepared me for the adjustment period that I may need to having such short after having long hair for years. My hair has never been this short and natural so she showed me what products to use and how to style it, and also gave me some other very helpful information to reveal any underlying issues with my hair. I selected this salon because I was kinda drawn to it after reviews….I received all that I expected and so much more. She was right, it is an adjustment, but I love it more every time I look at it? Stephanie is stuck with me now ?

She listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered exactly the look I envisioned. On top of that, she shared great tips and advice on how to care for my locs moving forward, which I really appreciated.

I'm so late with my review please forgive me. I show up wanting my hair braided I went to several hair braiding shops that day trying to get my hair done but the vibe and energy was off in all the shops except for when I walked into Solange Hair braiding salon. She was so nice and approachable so very welcoming. I got small knotless braids waist length and they were so beautiful, neat, and the parts were so neat and the same size over my entire head. I was not in there very long to beautiful queens were braiding my hair and they did an excellent job. Forgive because I did not get their names but hope they will be there when I return. If you are looking for a wonderful braiding shop you need to run don't walk down to Solange Hair Braiding Salon the best shop I've been too.?

Jesse was absolutely phenomenal. He was very considerate and took time and care to make sure I got the cut and beard trim I needed. He made sure to confirm my satisfaction multiple times throughout my cut and trim. He also suggested a few things that I haven't ever had suggested to me going to the big corporate guys. Very satisfied with my experience. Great job Jesse! My girlfriend loves my new look and so do I for once.

This place has been my go to for haircuts for the last 5 years or so. It has been great to see the changes in décor, and services as they have grown, but what is even better is what hasn't changed. Since I have been going there one thing that had never changed is the consistency and quality of the service! The barbers there take their time and always do a great job. I’ve been coming here for a long time and just last year I tried a different spot to see how they were because the place came highly recommended by an friend and they were terrible compared to Fancy Nails. I LOVE Fancy Nails! I bring my 6 year old daughter with me to get mani and pedi’s and they always treat us like royalty, most times they treat my daughter better than me, LOL. I love their service and I’m always satisfied when I leave. And my daughter absolutely adores them! They greet us with the upmost respect and always have a smile on their face. I was greeted at the door with a warm smile and welcome. I was offered wine and water, which I gladly took of course! My Candle wax massage was amazing and came with a complimentary foot scrub. Nikki was amazing and she listened to all my my needs for the massage and I left feeling great. The next day I noticed my problem areas felt so much better than they did before. Highly recommend!! Buddy snaked my outdoor sump pump drain, and did so for half the price of the big guys (Len the plumber, Brian B Quick, etc). Those other guys won’t even give you a price over the phone and then send someone who is less experienced to perform the work. Buddy and his team came the next day, and did a fantastic job clearing out and repairing the drain pipe. Happy I’ve found my plumbing contractor for future needs!

I am so happy I contacted Kroeger Electric to get a second opinion and estimate. Another company gave me an estimate of over $3000.00 for minor work. We had Lee come out today. He's the real deal. He relies on his actual skills not a diagnostic machine to tell him what to do. The previous electrician from Chesapeake Electric wanted to run 3 separate diagnostics at a cost of $630. My entire bill from Kroeger Electric was less than than the cost of their "diagnostic" before any work was done and a fraction of the $3000 they wanted to charge. Lee is no bullshit. I knew if he told me something needed repaired I could trust his word. Companies like Kroeger Electric are a rare find.

I've shopped around for a company to build my deck and patio for over a year and I have to say Maryland Deck Builders was the right company for the job. My project was not small by any means with a large deck, stone patio with a firepit and seating area. Nelson and team did a great job explaining the process, meeting with me multiple times to go over options and even during the project when we hit a snag with some of the stone colors with the distributer, Nelson came out to my house with alternatives to review with me.
Nelson was also very reasonable when we had to make some adjustments and wasn't focused on nickel-and-diming
us but rather making sure we were satisfied with the project.

I highly recommend Pineda Stonework.
We contracted with Pineda Stonework to remove the old paver walkway and step that had settled several inches, and install new pavers, step, and adjust the grade. They did an excellent job. They put down new gravel and fixed the border in place with cement. The new pavers and step look great.
They also pulled out old firepit pavers, moved the installation 4 feet from the house, and installed new gravel and pavers.
Additionally, Pineda stone resurfaced cement blocks for the basement walk-up and dug a trench for PVC pipe to direct water away from the walk-up (Edin, owner, caught this problem and recommended the solution).
The team was professional, courteous, and paid close attention to detail. They take pride in their workmanship. After completing the job, they did a thorough cleanup. Communication was excellent, and Edin was flexible with minor changes.

Hernando and his crew did an excellent job trimming all the branches that were covering the roof and chimney. They even removed all the dead and weak branches. The guys even helped to reinstall the chimney cap that came off. He also let us let us keep the mulch where they threw all the branches into the wood chipper. Total time was about 3 hours.
Pasadena MD area: We had a tree removed, another 2 trees trimmed and one large root stump from a dead bush removed. They did exceptional work, reasonably priced and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend this company.

I had an amazing experience with Glen Burnie Oral Surgery Associates. Destinee was absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and the nurses were so kind and comforting. Dr. Souri was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and he did a great job explaining the procedure so I knew exactly what to expect both before and after surgery. I truly cannot say enough good things about this facility—from the receptionist to the nurses and assistants to the doctor, everyone is exceptional at what they do.

My appointment at Arundel Dental Group was easily the best dental experience I have ever had. The administrative staff were kind and efficient. Dr. Heisman provided exceptional care. As a military referral patient, his thorough approach and attention to my comfort was refreshing. He took time to review my medical history and was receptive to my concerns. Both he and his assistant (who was very sweet and funny) maintained interesting conversation which—along with the nitrous, lol—helped ease my nerves. After getting a precautionary XRAY for my daughter's shoulder, I was about to meet with Sports Medicine Doctor to get evaluated thinking we needed an MRI ordered. At the recommendation of two friends, we chose to meet with Adam first. Glad we did. He was able to make my daughter's shoulder so much better after just one treatment. I highly recommend a consultation before going Sports Medicine route.
Edit: I had to send one of my cats to the big cat tree in the sky today and the staff were truly so helpful, compassionate, and informative. Everyone there is truly so kind and I am so grateful that my baby spent her last moments surrounded by love.
I truly have to thank this clinic and their staff from the bottom of my heart. They squeezed me in for an emergency visit day of despite being fully booked. I came in with my cat a sleep deprived crying wired mess and left feeling so much better. The prices were very affordable for a student like me and everyone was so kind. I don't care that it's a 30+ minute drive away, this is my new clinic. If I had the money to pay them full price I would because they're good people.

Today, we unfortunately had to put our 12-year-old boxer down. It’s an incredibly tough time, and I can’t express enough how grateful I am that this was our veterinary office.
My appointment today was at 3 p.m., and I assume from our earlier phone call they knew how emotional this would be for us. They had us come through a different entrance so that when I carried Roxi in, we were able to go straight back to a private comfort room. From the very beginning, the vet tech, doctor, and front desk staff made sure nothing came as a surprise. They walked us through everything step by step and were extremely patient, never rushing us for a moment.
One thing I appreciated more than I can say was that they handled all of the paperwork ahead of time. When everything was done, we were able to walk directly outside to our car instead of sitting in a waiting room. To be honest, we weren’t in any state to talk to anyone, and that level of thoughtfulness meant the world to us. They also made sure we knew—repeatedly—that we were in no rush and could stay with Roxi as long as we needed. No one should ever feel rushed when saying goodbye to a loved one, and they made sure we never did. I greatly appreciated the Doctor doing an exam prior, it’s comforting hearing from a professional that I was making the right decision.
We chose cremation for Roxi, and they already had that process thoughtfully set up for us as well—something I hadn’t even thought about in advance. Every detail was handled with compassion and care.
These are amazing people doing a job that families dread, and I’m so thankful we trusted them to give our Roxi peace. I plan to call tomorrow to personally thank them again for everything they did for us This memory will stick with us forever, and I’m truly grateful this’s where we went.
We have been using Aimee's grooming service since 2018 with a variety of adopted and foster dogs. Her service is so convenient as she has a mobile spa unit that comes to your home. Our dogs absolutely love the service since they do not leave our yard and it is stress free. Aimee receives many dog kisses during the grooming sessions. Afterwords, the dogs perform their Runway walks around the yard and house and demand we take photos. I would highly recommend Aimee for her love of dogs and exceptional service.

I have been very disappointed by my one year membership experience at this location. Over the course of the year, I had different therapists and none except for one did the massage well or did not cut a significant amount of time from the 50 to 60 min of service you are supposed to get. I cannot wait until my membership runs out to stop Going there. I have been to other Massage Envy places in other states and this one should either close down or change their therapists. Clients definitely do not get their money’s worth.
