I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to wait the hour to 2 hours I previously typically waited past my appointment time at another clinic. Here I was promptly seen right on time. The facility is clean, spacious and pleasant. The office staff was courteous and helpful. The doctor was very knowledgeable and reassuring. She called me the next day with test results. “I keep Everhart business cards in my wallet because I want to recommend them every chance I can. After taking my cats to Dr. Notarangelo and Dr. Hayes at the Cross Keys and Brooklyn Park locations, I'm so impressed by how cat friendly the practice is. (For example, they offered my cat Kiffawiffick a plush house in his own room where he could relax. When they needed to move him around the office for tests, they carried him in the plush house because he felt safest there.) I've never had trouble scheduling an appointment, and the doctors and staff are always thorough and clear when explaining test results and answering questions. From my experience at other practices, a vet tech can make or break a visit, and every tech I've met at Everhart is exceptionally patient and kind. What I really love is that they have multiple locations, which makes it easy for our cats to see someone in an emergency.“

“My Khaos had been very sick for awhile, I was dreading having to put him down and thought he would've gotten better... he did not. I caved and made an appointment with Severn River Animal Hospital. I wanted honesty, not a place that would make empty promises and take my money. After a brief exam, I was given 2 options; euthanasia or try somethings that didn't guarantee him living for a long period of time. I said i just want him to be at peace and not sick anymore. I thank them for their honesty and allowing me to spend time with my boy before and after the process. This was a first for me. I had him cremated and received his remains by the end of the week. Checked my mailbox and the entire team sent me a card. I'm grateful I found this place and will be using them for my other doggos.“
“We love Waugh Chapel AH, because they are always so kind to our fur son. They keep the facility clean, with treats and easy in and out processing. Most times we are done with our annual check up in 20 min. or less. Plus they are very responsive for prescriptions, shot verifications and appointments. Great option for locals and others in the surrounding area.“

“Staff and doctors were very pleasant. The vet was extremely informative answering all our questions about our two new puppies. He did not make us feel rushed in any way. Only complaint would be the wait time, but that is to be expected when they're only there for a few hours a few nights a week. Would highly recommend them especially for initial shots, boosters, and flea, tick, heartworm medication. I do wish that they would see pets when they're sick as well. But I do highly recommend for discounted basics“

“CVSS operated on our 13 yr old male cat, Potter. His right anal gland burst and abscessed twice during Covid-19. The second time was while waiting for an appointment with CVSS, but they were operating in a limited capacity. This was emergent, so it was allowed.Dr. Keats performed the surgery and he was excellent. Having over 20 yrs of soft tissue surgical experience, he kept us informed before and after surgery as we were not allowed in with him. When he called with the results of the biopsy, it was a terminal diagnosis, but he did it with such care and concern. He never said the words cancer or terminal. Turns out, this is a very rare cancer in cats that chemo and radiation can't treat.Together, we came up with a treatment plan of him seeing Potter bimonthly to determine regrowth and put him on kidney food bc Dr. Keats noticed year over year blood results that my normal vet didn't. There are only so many surgeries they can do as the nerves in that area tell a cat when they need to hit the litter box.They are very responsive to email and phone calls. You definitely get what you paid for. Guardians always want the best for their animal, and CVSS is definitely the best.“
