“I adopted a teenage puppy who had lots of leash reactivity and lots of pulling. Denise was the 2nd trainer we worked with and since working with Denise, he's made huge progress! He would lunge and bark at everything from a cart to a recycle bin to a tall branch hanging over the fence. After determining the right tool that worked for me and him, and working through some of my own anxieties with him, I feel more confident walking him and he is much easier to handle. Me and him still have work to do, (practice makes perfect!) but I feel like I can breath when I take him out of my house and I no longer worry about the big feelings and reactivity that he had towards any and everything. Thanks to Denise, my teenage puppy might just make it to his humans sports events one day!“

“I adopted a dog in October and it’s been winter the entire time I have had him (basically) and while we walk multiple times daily, I knew I needed to find him a place to get some real activity in along with other dogs.I decided to check Hound Town out over other options in the area.I made an appt so they could evaluate my dog and see if he would be a good fit.The Manager was very friendly and my dog took to him right away. I couldn’t wait to get him back for his first play date!This Saturday is a Cold, Rainy, Sloppy Day… A Perfect Day Go To Hound Town for his first Play date!This type of weather is a perfect situation of why i’m sure we will be back many , many more times to have some hound fun!“
“Potomac animal hospital is quite pricey, but we love the level of care our dogs have received over the past years. We go here for grooming, preventative care, and medical care. The reception staff is very friendly, as are the vets themselves.“

“My review is very delayed, but I came in a week before Christmas for my cat. The kind woman at the front desk was very helpful. I also had Tokyo, Lauren, and Wiley (I hope I spelled their names right) who took care of my cat. They all had excellent customer service and I’m happy they enjoyed being around my cat. I’m surprised my cat was friendly to them and I’ll definitely recommend this spot to anyone!“

“Our dog trainer, Wendy, was a perfect match for us, my elderly parents, who I live with \\u0026 do stuff they can't do anymore, myself \\u0026 a new 10 week old female Cavapoo, (who isn't potty trained yet \\u0026 I never had to do this b4). She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and easy for all of us to understand. She allowed all 3 of us to attend, even though there is a 2 person per dog limit. Although we're still working on the potty training, our puppy, Molly, left knowing how to sit. Thanks, Wendy !!! “I have been a customer of Healthy Hound for over ten years and would never consider leaving my beagles in the care of any other kennel. HHP provides everything I am looking for in a kennel. I am happy they are open every day of the year. The most important part of this review should address the care of my pets, and this is where I feel that HHP really shines. Most importantly, I appreciate the daycare that HHP provides all day. There are three separate play areas based on a dog's size which is important as my dogs are smaller. I also like the fact that staff are always present in the play areas. My dogs are always excited to arrive at HHP and are picked up tired yet happy. Just as important as daycare to me is the boarding at HHP. I know that my dogs are in a safe environment when we are apart. Having a staff person onsite with the boarders throughout the night is the big reason I never worry about my dogs when they need to be boarded overnight. Finally, I feel no review of any business can complete without a mention of the staff. The employees at HHP are obviously well trained at their jobs and experienced. The reception area always offers a warm greeting and moves you through the check in and check out process quickly. In closing, I absolutely recommend the daycare and boarding services provided at HHP. I have experienced a lot of kennels over the years and feel that HHP provides everything I am looking for when it comes to the care of my dogs.“

“I came to this location yesterday for dog grooming and my dog's stylist, Lesly C., was amazing; she did a wonderful job grooming my miniature goldendoodle, so if you have the same breed or any dog with a curly coat, I'd highly recommend her. I'm giving a five-star rating for the grooming and customer service, however the store itself is quite dirty. I noticed there's a smell due to dog pee and I'm unsure how often it gets cleaned, other than that I love the numerous amounts of products they have for any kind of pet.“
