“Lofft did a great job building a powder room and coat closet plus removing a structural wall in our house. With a scope of work that included architectural design, structural study, permits/inspections, and construction, they were capable throughout and came in at a more reasonable price than the other companies we talked to. I would recommend Lofft to others looking to complete home renovation projects, etc.“

“Our technician was outstanding and fast! He was professional, friendly and did a great job.

However the pricing was a bit interesting in our case. The work took 30 minutes. The job is estimated on an hourly rate, the customer has to pay for the first hour regardless, even if the technician only take 15 minutes to get it done. After the first hour your billed in 15 minutes increments unless it goes to the next hour. So, we were billed 1hr. 30 minutes for a 30 minute job on top of a $75 trip fee.

“I had an ongoing sewage backup in my outside basement stairwell since last December 2021. I had gotten three estimates; Mr Nelson's was very reasonable. My plumbing problem was that the sewage pipe is galvanized and had deteriorated. It was the original pipe of my 1949 row home, and the main problem with the pipe extended into the recreation room of the basement. They were going to have to dig. My anxiety went through the roof; however, Mr Nelson diffused my fears and worked with me. He and his team explained the entire procedure, broke it down where I clearly understood, and also provided me a status with pictures. This company is very meticulous about their work, and they clean up and haul away excess debris and mud. I am very happy, and the sewage pipe and drain now work perfectly. Nelson will definitely be my plumbing first choice, and I highly recommend them.“

“Committing to my first major renovation project as a new homeowner I was understandably nervous, however, Evail and his team at EAD Contractors were quick to alleviate those fears. He really listened to me during the design phase to ensure that we were going to build what I wanted. He even helped me find an engineer for the necessary drawings. They were able to get the necessary permits from DCRA and answer all their questions. There was an issue with the project due to the weather, and Evail came out on Christmas day to address it! I was extremely satisfied the basement stairs and entry that they built. When it was time to pay the bill, everything was straight forward and as promised in the beginning. Fyi: the shingles are hard to match due to age so i thought getting the HOA's approval was going to be tough. This company guaranteed that they could get the HOA's approval, which they did! The price was very competitive, the company was very responsive to all my inquiries and they did everything i asked them to in a timely manner.“
