“I had booked an appointment thru their ig page! It was so easy and quick! The location is right off of 355 in Bethesda in front of the AC hotel. It is also walking distance from the Bethesda metro stop. Brenda was so welcoming and helpful with this being my first time getting extensions with her. She asked what I wanted to do, I also asked her expert opinion and we did a wispy full cat eye which was so amazing! Brenda also had snacks and water in her suite and she made sure I was comfortable during my appointment. It was a great experience my lashes have lasted almost 2 weeks with some shedding but Brenda said it's normal! 10/10 would recommend. Brenda provided excellent customer service and fair prices. The suite was clean, cute and full of snacks!“

“I had the best experience at Lume Hair Styles with Angela. I had reached out to her about an at home bleach treatment that did not go exactly as expected and Angela was quick to offer help. She’s really kind & caring and she is very knowledgeable about the treatments. She helped me fixed my hair on short notice and it looks much better than expected! I was worried about being judged but she was really welcoming and professional! I’d go back for more services and recommend to anyone in the DMV area.“

“Lisa was wonderful during a difficulty time. She spent over an hour talking on the phone initially with suggestions on how to help hair loss. Then when we went in person she made great suggestions as to what wig would be best. She matched the wig almost perfectly to my daughter's natural hair. She spent so much time fitting the wig and making sure that it felt as natural as can be. The wig looks great and feels great. It is very durable and since my daughter plays sports, Lisa made sure to fit the wig so it doesn't fall off. Not only did she help make my daughter feel like her old self, but she was there for us emotionally.“

“As always, everyone was extremely friend and my stylist Alicia was efficient and ressourceful as ever. I came to just to y eyebrows, but Alicia also suggested a touch up of my roots and did il all fast and very well“

“I had highlights done at another studio and did root touchups on my own. My hair was feeling brassy so thought I would try Studio AM based on high reviews. Anum took the time before my appt to understand my goals for the appt and we set up an appointment for a toner. When I got there and she looked at my hair, she suggested that I instead do a root color as the color I had done on my own was making my whole head feel brassy and the color was too warm. She explained that my highlights were actually a nice ash color, but the brassy roots was throwing it off. She also suggested this as a toner would reduce the overall appearance of my highlights which I confirmed I didn't want. She took the time to explain color theory and what to look for if I end up doing a root touchup on my own again. She got the root color perfect (blends so nicely with the rest of my hair) and because she got the brassiness out of the roots, the rest of my hair looks perfect too! Really appreciated her taking the time to get to the "root" of my problem :). She was also so sweet and efficient. Will absolutely come back again!“
